"zero bars (mr smith)" as written by and Gary Anthony James Webb....
My name is Smith
Your silence is my trade
My name is Smith
Here in this bar you fade out

Time heals nothing
It merely rearranges our memory
In zero bars
Even time no longer seems willing to try

Please look around
Empty faces that never quite die
Don't be surprised
Their bodies move by habit, look in their eyes

Nothing is real
If you break down and cry they won't even stare
Nobody feels
It's far too risky to admit that you care

My name is Smith
Your silence is my trade
My name is Smith
Here in this bar you fade out

General Commentgreat song ! i love this keyboard rythem...the lyrics fit very well with the rythem. zero bars is a song that reflects the attitude of mr. smith, going into bars and having to look around him at all the shit that surrounds him.

General CommentThe first verse reads to me like he's playing the part of Smith, an assassin, or a silencing machine. This fits with the vision of the follow-up Replicas, and he was obviously using some of that imagary here.
Also, the name "Mr Smith" combined with the subject matter reminds me very much of the Matrix movies, made over 20 years later.
Truly ahead of his time, our Mr Webb.
