"Keep Me From Harm" as written by Peter Himmelman, Paul Statham and Peter John Murphy....
Health is all I'm asking for
Love is all I need
Hope is what I'm asking for
Lay me down to sleep
It was then that I lost you
Was dragged there too
Under the sea of mystery
Died there along with you

Love me hold me keep me from harm
Love me hold me keep me from harm

Guess you found your own root
Dug into that vast heart
Flew without wing or pinion
Now you orbit the stars
Now haunted and weary
Your vision creeps
I need a clear water
I need a release

Love me hold me keep me from harm
Love me hold me keep me from harm

Lay me down to sleep

General CommentTo me, this song is about a guy who loves a girl...and now she's out of his life and doing OK on her own. The guy just wishes he wasn't in soo much pain and just wants to feel good again. I'm sure Peter Murphy wrote this with something else in mind...but I take the lyrics exactly how they are written. This song also brings a pool of tears to my eyes. I go through a lot of emotional times and I've suffered a lot of rejection from women...so this song hits a little too close to home.

General CommentThis song could very well be about God. A prayer even.
