"House Is Not My Home" as written by Greg Bergdorf, Justin Mauriello, Ali Tabatabaee, Edwin Udhus, Ben Osmundson and Jeremy Popoff....
Well I'm tired, so tired of getting up and wasting another day
I wish the picture on the wall would still say it all
But now yesterday is so far away
And I would give anything, say anything

To keep it all like it was
But you just throw it all away
And I think this house is not my home
I think that I'd rather be alone tonight
I'm trying, trying to fake it

I'm tired, so tired, of giving up and taking all the blame
I wish the shouting and the fights would stop for the night
Can't close my eyes and make them all go away
And I would give anything, say anything
To keep it all like it was
But you just throw it all away

[Chorus]

This is the part where you say
You can't stay together just for me
This is the part where you make me choose
On whose side I want to be
This is the part where you decide
What's going to be best for me
This is the start
Now we grow apart
Now we grow apart

[Chorus]

General CommentI think it is more about a difficult marriage. The picture on the wall is of the happy couple (wedding picture probably). Trying to keep the happiness in the relationship like it was at the beginning. Pretending that nothing is wrong or taking all the blame. Fighting all the time.

My writing is not very articulate right now, but this is what I feel the song is about.

General CommentI think that this song is more about the kid, trying to deal with his parents divorce, especially besause of the rap "This is the part where you make me choose on whose side I want to be" Thats exactly what happened to me when my parents split up, so this song means a hell of a lot to me, and thats what i relate it to

General Commentwow domestic violence, i wish i couldn't relate. well this is just about a kid dealing with the fighting/divorice between his parents and wanting to escape because it doesn't feel like home anymore, because a home is not a building its family where you feel safe, but when fighting is a constant, a house is no longer a home.
