I've never been
One for war
Sand were sinkin in
as thick as oil

Lion and the lamb
there all gone
there all gone
slaughter the lion and the lamb
for our home
for our home

ive never been
one for war
sand were sinkin in
as thick as oil

lion and the lamb
there all gone
there all gone
slaughter the lion and the lamb
for our home
for our home

what have
what have
what have
become

what have
what have
what have
become

of

lion and the lamb
there all gone
there all gone
slaughter the lion and the lamb
for our home
for our home
the lion and the lamb
there all gone
there all gone
slaughter the lion and the lamb
for our home
for our home

    General Commenti dig this song.
but the grammatical errors in these lyrics are quite annoying.

General Commentone of my favorite Get Up Kids songs. i dig the direction they're going. The Guilt Show was by far the best album they've recorded.

General CommentThis was my absolute favorite track on the rock against bush album! I'm really liking the Get Up Kids lately, and I need to hear more of what they've got.

General CommentTo be honest, I don't actually have any Get Up Kids CDs, only Rock Against Bush, but I love this song and it reminds me of a quote my history teacher kept saying about WW1 which was "lions led by donkeys". It means that in war, the soldiers are brave (lions) but the generals (or in this case GWB, whoever it is sitting on their asses doing nothing at all) are just sending them out there to get slaughtered and basically don't give a shit about human lives.

Ao are Get Up Kids any good then?

General Commentarianethefool - TGUK are okay. They're nothing to call home about. They have a few good tracks on each disc but they start to sound really similar after awhile. Perfect example: i was listening to someone's iTunes playlist of them and they had four full get up kids cds on there, and I listened through them all and I could only tell when I switched between certain cds. some of them are really unique but the most of them sound the same. Something to write home about and on a wire are probably their best efforts.
