Ouu wooaahh
Give me a chance baby
Know you're tired of being hurt
Up late at night thinking
Ya feeling like we won't work
But we're something in the making
I understand your scared
Can see your hesitant
Not going nowhere
So let's take the first steps
Trynna take you out on a date
Show you what real love is
Put a smile on your face
Forget your problems
You know we belong togther
I'm your future baby
I'm the one
She got me in my fucking emotions tonight man (I'm the one)
Fuck it
Loving every single imperfection
My love can be ya weapon
I know you learned some lessons but
If you let your guard down
I'll show you just how I'm steppin
Shoot my shot I hope I'm Stephen
Every night I'll give you 30
Fuck you good and treat you right
They gone be mad they did you dirty
Girl I know yo past full of hurtin
Dealing with the ones that speak of love
But don't wanna put the work in
Now it's time to pull back the curtain
Expose for what it is
Speak my intentions from the jump
I'll let you know just how it is
I see a ring and a wife and a love without a twist
We might have a lil trouble but it's flat without the fizz
And I might not have all the answers
But I'll study for the quiz
And I promise I work for this shit like it's my fucking biz
Hol' up
Let's roll one up
Talk about what's on your mine
Let me be your drug
Percocet or blunt
Let's light it up
And feel the vibe
Cause I know I'm on your mind
Give me a chance (Always be there for you)
Give me a chance (Always be there for you)
Give me a chance
Give me a chance

Would someone bright and musically knowledgable please please please interpret this song. I wanna know what it means, but I have no clue...and so far some guy named Chance liked it because of his name. Geesh! I'll toss in the cherry on top if you interpret it tonight:) Oh, that may be misinterpreted. Nevermind...

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
