"Real Love" as written by Jared Gosselin, Macy Gray, Phillip White, Mellissa Larochelle, Samir Elmehdaoui and Freddie Moffett....
The dawn in all its majesty
Is stealing me away
The dawn in all its honesty
Is turning me to clay
And through the bears of iron rain
Way beyond and back again
I hear the voice of Eden cry
Lift me up I'm walking on high

It's real love
Real love

This world in all its clarity
Is glorious, is fake
This world in all its vanity
Is more than I can take
And down the road the iron wheels
Chain my heart to how it feels
I hear the voice of Eden cry
Lift me up I'm walking on high

It's real love
Real love
Real love
Real love

And something in the heart of me
Is telling me it's time
To meet the eye of destiny
And leave it all behind
And through my bones an iron rage
Paints my soul upon the page

I hear the voice of Eden cry
Lift me up to walk on high
Make me want to lay down and die
It's real love
Real love
Real love
Real love
The dawn in all its majesty
Is stealing me away

General CommentThis is a great song about realizing you are in love. Finally coming to accept that what you have is something real. He wakes up one morning and sees the dawn coming up and overflows. He finally appreciates what he has.

Something inside him is telling him that it's time he went ahead and stopped being afraid. It's just the very simple, very beautiful story, of that moment of realization.

General CommentI think that this song is realizing he wants more than love, Real Love
He wants something that is not fake as world is. He wants something eternal, incorruptable, unchanging. He says he is bound to this world and all it's feelings but he wants more. He then refers to Eden which I think shows that he is in a more religious mindset than romantice.

General CommentI agree...of course there is a dual meaning, depending on the listener..but for me,the only real love is not of this "fake world"...whatever the meaning of Davids prose in this song, real love is so awesome, whether its romantical or a Love of the higher order.
