"Right Side of the Bed" as written by Daniel Jacobs, Travis Miguel, Brandon Saller and Ektor Varkatzas....
Come on!!

I can see her now.
Dancin' round, her drink in hand.
All the baggage in tow,
I just want to forget her, let go.
All of the joy, the pain.
I'll take your guilt
And break it into me.
And now I kiss it good-bye.
Our last dance ended fatally.

[Chorus:]
Who's sleepin' on my side of the bed tonight?
Have you ever cried so hard,
Baby you just died
Who's sleepin on my side of the bed tonight?
Have you ever cried so hard?

There she goes again
Another masquerade of our circumstance
She'll fuck you just for the tastes
I just wish that I could replace
All the memories of
What makes my blood run cold
Let the blood run through me
I say goodbye to a word we had

[Chorus]

She came and went.
And on through my hands
But I stared in her eyes and saw some pieces that say goodbye
Sometimes when your holding on, you never see the light.

With flowers in her hair,
Case and point with dead lovers eyes
She never looked so good, and I never felt so Right x2

[Chorus]

    General Commentfucking idiots, out of the 34593 left on here, maybe 3 were about the meaning of the song. the rest of you would rather waste time arguing about which parts are hardcore and semi-hardcore. faggots.

    General CommentGod. These comments make me laugh. There are so many different posts about the lyrics. Seriously, I came here to read about what people thought about the song, yet all I've come across are people arguing about the lyrics.

    General CommentI believe this song can be interpreted in different ways, but my first impression of it goes like this: A guy is in a relationship and it goes great at first

    --"I say goodbye to what we had"--

    but then something changes. This girl apparently has alot of baggage and drinks because of it -maybe-. He watches her dancing knowing somthing has changed, but he doesn't know whether to let go or not-

    --"gazed upon with dead lover's eyes.
    She never looked so good,
    And I never felt so right.

    I felt so wrong"--

    Because he remembers how it used to be between them-

    --"I just want to forget and let go
    Of all the joy, of all the pain...

    I say goodbye to what we had"--

    But now she has changed and he doesn't realize it until now because he's been holding on so tightly to her past self--

    --"Sometimes when you're holding on,
    You'll never see the light"

    I believe the whole song's message is basically that sometimes your holding onto a relationship so tightly, that you don't realize the other person is changing and your growing apart, so it ends up in a downward spiral, but you won't let go of all the happy, past memories.

    General CommentThose lyrics are just... not even on par. Sorry man. Getting your hearing fixed.

    My Notes:
    (what it could be saying)
    (*what I think it's saying*)

    *hardcore voice*
    C'mon!
    */hardcore voice*

    *semi-hardcore voice*
    I can see her now,
    dancing around, her drink in hand.
    All the baggage you tow,
    I just want to (*fucking let her go*) or (forget her and go).
    All my life I've enjoyed the pain,
    I could kill you for what you did to me.
    And now I kissed it goodbye,
    I ran upstairs and cried all night.
    */semi-hardcore voice*

    *chorus*
    Been sleeping on my side of the bed tonight.
    Have you ever cried so hard maybe you just died?(You just died!)
    Been sleeping on my side of the bed tonight.
    Have you ever cried so hard?
    Have you ever cried so hard?
    */chorus*

    *semi-hardcore voice*
    There she goes again,
    another masquerade for circumstance.
    She'll fuck you just for the taste.
    I just wish that I could replace.
    All the memories of,
    what I need to let her go.
    You let your blood run through me,
    I say goodbye to what we had.

    *chorus*
    Been sleeping on my side of the bed tonight.

    Have you ever cried so hard?
    Have you ever cried so hard?
    */chorus*

    *semi-hardcore voice*
    She came and went.
    (*right on/runnin through my lips,
    like a spinning/spitting*)?
    Her (*rising psalms,
    or/on/as*) preachers to say goodbye.?)
    Sometimes when you're holding on,
    you never see the light.
    With flowers in her hair,
    (I get to part) or (keeps apart) or (*a kiss apart*) with dead lovers eyes.
    She never looked so good,
    and I never felt so right.
    */semi-hardcore voice*

    *hardcore voice*
    With flowers in her hair,
    (I get to part) or (keeps apart) or (*a kiss apart*) with dead lovers eyes.
    She never looked so good,

    I never felt so right.
    I never felt so right!
    */hardcore voice*

    *Guitar solo... beautiful*

    *whispering*
    With flowers in her hair,
    (I get to part) or (keeps apart) or (*a kiss apart*) with dead lovers eyes.
    She never looked so good,
    and I never felt so right.

    General Commenti'm gonna have to go with this second interpretation. not only does it sound more accurate, but he even denoted the portions where it was "semi-hardcore," lol.
