"Once More" as written by and Zack Wylde....
Once more
Forever 'til the end of time
Forever found
Think what you may, but honey I ain't blind

Lost in the shuffle like a child all alone
Count my days for the end is my home
Once more
Forever 'til the end of time

Oh

Once more
I kill myself again
Once more
I'm a slave to the goddamn end

Lost in the shuffle like a child all alone
Counting my days for the end is my home
Once more
Forever 'til the end of time

Oh

General CommentI think this song's about grinding through life and pretty much accepting that it's not going to get much better for you. Kinda like "Yeah, sure, I'll get up and do this shit for you one more time...I'll eat shit and get shit on and fucking kill myself for you again...just don't think I don't know what's going on here. Am I ever gonna get a break? If not, then fuck it, I'll just keep movin' along until it's all over for me, then maybe I'll get some peace in the end". That's just the way I see it.

As for as the song itself, as much as I love Zakk, I don't really like how he took this slow, mellow little ballad with a beautiful acoustic solo and laid his "heavy metal" gravely vocals over it...I admit it's different and was kinda cool at first, but I can't help but think of how much better the song would have been if he had actually tried to sing it nicely. But hell, he's been doing this for years, so what do I know?
