For the best part of 4 years, I've wandered what if.
All this time still nothing.
But today, I'll take my chances.
I've saved my pennies in a wishing well, so wish me well.
My bags weigh me down, but thoughts of you pick me up again.
No one said it was going to be easy.
I took a step back and I saw a marble sparkle.
It reminded me of you.
Every souvenir has a story.
Marble sparkles, catches my eye I'm getting closer and I'll soon be home again.
And if a book was my life, you'd at least be a chapter titled 'One not to forget'.
