"Corporate Cloning" as written by Burton C. Bell, Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers....
A Clone force mass produced
Simulate, introduce
Delinquint, rank and file
Incodent, stamped and styled

[Repeat: x2]
Ill-affected progeny
Tasteless iconography

A half-life in the line
Industry, by design
Plastic thoughts in my mind
Thus begins my demise

[Repeat: x2]
This year's model dims and fades
Last year's model is erased

Prototype
By design
Prototype
Stand in line

(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon
(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon

Life and sex share a mind
Deviance is a crime
Delinquint, rank and file
Incodent, stamped and styled

Ill-affected progeny
Tasteless iconography
This years model dims and fades
Last years model is erased

Prototype
By design
Prototype
Stand in line

(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon
(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon
Another fallen icon

[Repeat: x4]
Sometimes I wish I were deaf and blind

(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon
(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon

(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon
(Fading) Another fading idol
(Falling) Another fallen icon... Icon

General Commenti'm guessing that this is saying like, your on top of everything and then next year, its like your break up. you got your 15 minutes of fame and now your gone. i'm probably wrong.

General Commenti think it could be about any form of conformity, but personally i think its about the music industry. i think its about sellouts and music conforming to what is popular.

another possibility is that its about society's conformity. "deviance is a crime" could mean that individuality is no longer accepted in our culture.

    but im not really sure..

General CommentKinda right. It's about manufactured bands and how they have about 15 minutes of fame. Also, how they rip off of bands that start the idea.

General Commenti think its about how people feed into the "new thing" and they go out and buy any new technology even if its not better, just new, and that people are never satisfied with what they have

General CommentSomehow, this song make me think of the Star Wars clones, and the game Starwars Battlefront 2

i think joker is right about the meaning.

General CommentDefinitely agree with TW15TeD_F41TH's comment. I would add to that that it's about how society, media in particular, creates "clones" by constantly attempting to form in our minds what things like "beauty" and "truth" and "good" are. We are constantly being fed ideals of what other people think we should be like or conform to. The media basically controls us, how we think, what we buy, what we believe, how we feel, how we should feel, etc.
