I see your scars
I know where they're from
So sensually carved and bleeding
Until you're dead and gone
I've seen it all before
Beauty and splendor torn
It's when heaven turns to black
And hell to white
Right so wrong and wrong so right

Feel it turning your heart into stone
Feel it piercing your courageous soul
You're beyond now- redemption
And no one's going to catch you when you fall

I see you crawl
You can barely walk
And arms wide open
You keep on begging for more
I've been there before
Knocking on the same door
It's when hate turns to love
And love to hate
Faith to doubt and doubt to faith

I heard it was a self harm song.....self destruction, you know it's wrong but it's the only thing that makes sense but as well as making you feel 'right' it's also killing everything you are. The 'No one's gonna catch you when you fall' part means this is something that you can't tell people about so when you do slip up again you're on your own.

This song is awesome. More ppl should write on this song, i'm surprised i'm the first. This song is about...i think... someone not liking some1 else and then they realize how much they want the person cuz they can't stand the pain and they trying falling in love again. did that make sense??? doubt. o well.

yeah, why is it only us two who wrote on it? i love this song- all the contrasts are so cool- "It's when heaven turns to black and hell to white",
"Right so wrong and wrong so right" etc

Yeah this song kicks ass. Well its about giving someone a second chance but then they mess up again and then they are "beyond redemption"

personally this songs means to me, an explaination of just downright feeling down, and feeling that its never gonna turn out good, almost a reminder also that this feeling isnt just felt by you personally but by anyone with emotion.

i think it's revenge or stg like that...when he says "No one's gonna catch you when you fall"...it's like he was the protector and now she lost him...her loss!...gr8 song!

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
