"Rejection Role" as written by Peter Leo Rickard Wichers, Ola Frenning and Bjoern Strid....
I'm the result of an ageless redemption
A body with a heartless convention
A face with a smile that's been shut down for years
Facing the facts of my generation, 'cause
I'm a sinner, a winner, my blood is getting thinner
I might as well get another life cause I've been there
I know what's been said and I know what's been done
Don't you tell me I'm the only one, cause I

I will be there looking for something
Coming straight out of nothing, just killing time
Facing those walls so black, so vile
I really am waiting for nothing
Coming straight out of something, just killing time
Facing those walls so black, so vile

Now put your trust in a solid machine
Filled with words that have never been seen
A plague to insatiable souls left to die
Charged with mankind's raw energy
I rumble, I stumble
My memory starts to crumble
I can't refuse what's haunting my dreams
Have I stumbled?
On my way to a created perfection
I penetrate the gates of rejection

There's no determination, echoes of a failed gallery
There's yet extermination, inside us all screaming

General Commentnot soilwork's hardest song ever but i love the lyrics.. i think they describe a breakup.. the title gives it away i think.. and the lyrics describe it.. anger, lonliness.. just waiting for "something" to come out of "nothing" that is left behind

General CommentI don't think it was them copying, I'd say they were all hanging out on tour or something and one of them came up with the idea of a matching video.

General CommentYeah, that's Soilwork they're fighting. If you watch the Rejection Role video, one of the In Flames guys writes "Soilwork Sux" on the wall. Great idea for the videos!

General CommentI think this song has something to do with being rejected from a group. Or being somewhere that doesnt make you happy.

General Commentthis song has nothing to do with breaking up or established relationships of any kind. as the title suggests it is about playing the "rejection role". a guy that just really likes being around a girl, he dreams about her, he doesnt think he deserves her. "I'm a sinner, a winner, my blood is getting thinner
I might as well get another life cause I've been there" but he wants her and he knows she would be happy with him. he is "Coming straight out of nothing, just killing time
Facing those walls so black, so vile" which means his last relationship was painful. but he doesnt expect this girl to want him, he can pretend and say he is just killing time, but the girl represents the black and vile walls. as the line "On my way to a created perfection
I penetrate the gates of rejection" he is praying for a happy ending.
