She's got the anger of a suffragette but she's crying a river
She's got the smile of a side show clown but she stands and delivers
I'm drinking heavily to slur my stroll and get some rythym
I'm on the prowl but who would've thought that I could pick em
Maybe you can help me, I am looking for someone to dance with
Baby can't you help me, you know I hate dancing by myself
I see a looker with a neon top, so I started talking
She holds the wall up with a broken shoulder, so I started walking
I turn the corner and who do I spot, it's that girl from TV
I spilt my liquor and my buzz is gone, and my stroll ain't easy
Baby you can help me, I am looking for someone to dance with
Baby can't you help me, you know I hate dancing by myself

General CommentThis song's pretty contradictory, i know its not called everything you ever wanted to know about straight edge, but the song is called that and then daryl's singin about pickin up a chick in a club and drinkin liquor, gettin a buzz and all that. Maybe this song is written sarcasticaly to make fun of people who do that kinda stuff, knowing daryl is straight edge and pretty against it though really caught me on this song.
