Sun Doesn't Rise Lyrics
Sometimes we have to break down in order to realize again who are so we can progress.
Every day we're faced with new problems, no matter how far you get, there will be more obstacles ahead of you. Just when you think you're done, in comes a new situation for you to deal with, just like the day before.
It's like the sun didn't even rise, cause you're right back where you started. Who knows how far you'll fall tomorrow.
Also being faced with problems is what makes us human, you gain experience and knowledge from everything you go through in life.
"Welcome my downfall"
At least that's what I get from it.
Sounds like they're talking about someone who's been in jail for a very long time, or somewhere along those lines. "I can't recall my crime" Somethings holding this guy back from starting life again, and i think it's bars. And well how prison is dark and cold; the sun doesn't rise "damaged in our own way, alone in our own way. Distant headlights, desolate highway".
Anyways, it's just my way of interpreting it.
a song about a post apocalyptic world where all man follow the christian god and he decided to feel a different way and was banished for it and is forced to live with being alone it seems like the sun will never rise again because he'll never find another human willing to talk to him in his entire life
do not condemn me for i am insane
Wow you completely took your own eccentric world view and slapped it on to a song that has nothing to do with it.

To me this song is about him searching for his faith. He doesnt feel like it is right that he cant find it. He feels like maybe hes done something wrong to seal his fate. He has no faith and its as if the sun never rises for him, and as if his life hasnt even begun yet. He cant see that light so hes stuck in darkness but he still strives to acquire that distant light. But whenever he looks at religion or any organized faith its just empty. There is no answers there. So he continues to struggle falling deeper into his darkness questioning himself and his life and even his soul.
To me anyways...
I agree with king nothing on this one. Its like just as he feels hes able to "begin his life" things turn on him and its like hes back at the beginning.
sorry to dissapoint you if you like him but that wasn't Waylon...he didn't apear on any mushroomhead songs until Savior Sorrow cam out...That's J Mann...don't know how you got Waylon...sounds nothing like him...plus if you watch the video you can see J Mann singing it
Questioning the Jesus Christ resurrection-
Son (Jesus) doesn't Rise (resurrection) at all Who knows how far I'll fall? (to damnation)
I dont know why, but I fucking love the little fill in this song, I just have the idea while, its not that hard, it would be so damn fun.
I'm lovin the new Mushroomhead. Great shit.
Ok, who is the kickass voice that says this line
I can't feel my faith,
can't recall my crime. I think I sealed my fate along the way, I may have lost my mind. I guess we're all damaged in our own way, alone in our own way. Distant headlights, desolate highway. I can't feel my faith, can't recall my crime. I think I sealed my fate along the way, I may have lost my mind. I guess we're all damaged in our own way, alone in our own way. Distant headlights, desolate highway.
