"Knees of My Bees" as written by and Alanis Morissette....
We share a culture same vernacular
Love of physical humor and time spent alone
You with your penchant for spontaneous events
For sticky and raspy, unearthed and then gone

You are a gift promised sent with a wink
With tendencies for conversations that raise bars
You are a sage who is fueled by compassion
Comes to nooks and crannies, is bound for all stars

You make the knees of my bees weak, tremble and buckle
You make the knees of my bees weak

You are a spirit that knows of no limit
That knows of no ceiling who baulks at dead-ends
You are a wordsmith who cares for his brothers
Not seduced by illusions of fair-weather friends

You make the knees of my bees weak, tremble and buckle
You make the knees of my bees weak

You are a vision who lives by the signals of
Stomach and intuition as your guide
You are a sliver of god on a platter
Who walks what he talks and who cops when he's lied

You make the knees of my bees weak, tremble and buckle
You make the knees of my bees weak
You make the knees of my bees weak, tremble and buckle
You make the knees of my bees weak
You make the knees of my bees weak, tremble and buckle
You make the knees of my bees weak

As a huge Alanis fan this isnt one of my favorite songs. Because basically its about a guy she is obviouslly head over heels (no pun intended) for him. He makes her weak in the knees!

General CommentI like this song not for the lyrics but the sound of it is creative. It hypnotizes you.

General CommentThis song is actually about Alanis' fiancee. Actor/Comedian Ryan Reynolds. You know, the guy from Van Wilder, Blade Trinity, and the new Amityville Horror. I've always loved him, but when I read this and the other song about him "everything" I like him a whole lot more.

General CommentThis is the song that made me notice Alanis had changed a lot (!) since "under rug swept".
In all her records before her most of the lyrics and music was melancholic in prevailling mood, you felt like Alanis would never find the right man ... and there he finally was! At first I was disappointed about "So Called Chaos" because I felt like Alanis had betraied herself (she cut her hair, dressed more stylish, smiled a lot more ... ) and her way of writing such profound songs. But by the time I realized - especially because of "Knees of my Bees" - that I was happy for her.

General CommentThe lyrics above are actually wrong (sorry to be picky)

    it says:
"you with your penchant for spontaneous events
for sticky and raspy, unearthed and then gone

you are a gift promised sent with a wink
with tendencies for conversations that raise bars
you are a sage who is fueled by compassion
comes to nooks and crannies, is bound for all stars"

    it should be:

you with your penchant for spontaneous advents
for sticky unrests, be unearthed and then gone

you are a gift renassaince, with a wink
with tendencies for conversations that raise bars
you are a sage who is fueled by compassion
comes to nooks and crannies, as balm for all scars
