Parade in bright lights
I wish you were holding my breath
Tonite is perfect for bloodletting
But I'm alone again
It looks like christmas time
Bite my lip and tears fill my
I'll carry on, I'm better off living without you
No one to pull me under, this time I'm pulling through
I feel like falling apart on the most beautiful day I've ever known
But I know it has to end
No one to pull me under, this time I'm pulling through
Everything beautiful dies
So I kiss it goodbye
So I kiss it goodbye again
Sever my life from yours
The parade comes to town
Everybody gather around
I love the way you smile in the nite.

General CommentIMHO, I think the song is about a guy who has just killed his 'favourite' prostitute, and is dragging her corpse around the red light district. The power-violence influencing of RN is getting in my brain, lol

General CommentAlso I don't think RN really writes their songs completely about murder. Theres always a great deal of like emotion behind it, not just murder aspect. I think this song is about moving on, ending a relationship or something. "Close Caskets" the name says it all.

General Commentwell, on this record they're not supposed to be singing about killing ex bitches anymore.
in fact, he wrote "she looks so good in red" off as a "a joke"
