Deep beneath your skin
You know this feels so right to you
But trust me girl with him you don?t know
What your getting yourself into
Crawl into the sheets
With an unfamiliar face
It?s getting back at me
You want it?s kill my so called grace

But now
The table?s top turned
Once you left in mind and you?re still choking on your word
Noooooooowonder why your still alone
A body bruised and beaten blue and black
Noooooooowonder while you sleep with the window open
You do this to yourself

And now
Enjoy yourself a lover
All I know is I know could hate and
How do it feels to love to hate you
Nooooooooowonder why your stil alone
A body bruised and beaten blue and black
Noooooooowonder while you sleep with the window open
You do this to yourself

Your lies....buried beneath the truth
Your lies... it?s hard to see it through

Regret me don?t foregt me
I want you to remember
Regret me don?t forget me
Let?s get set to have to stay away

No wonder why your stil alone
A body bruised and beaten blue and black
No wonder while you sleep with the window open
You do this to yourself

Regret me don?t foregt me
I want you to remember
Regret me don?t forget me
Let?s get set to have to stay away

General CommentIt's a story of how a girl chose another guy over Mike. And Mike knew all along what would happen. The other guy abuses her and now she finally sees that what Mike said came true. But by this time, Mike has already gotten over and now has a distaste for her. "Regret me, don't forget me. I want you to remember." He's basically telling her he was right since the beginning and now it's too late for her to be with him. Pouring salt into the wounds. Excellent song.

General Commentit's "but now the tables have turned" not "but now the tables top turned"

the part that you missed is
    "Limping to your car,
you never thought it would end like this.
But you're a hero in his armor wasn't playing with those fists.
    So innocent and still,
you lay against your trucks window.
Playing what looks to me as karma taking it's last blow."

    where it says
    "And now
    Enjoy yourself a lover
All I know is I know could hate and
How do it feels to love to hate you"

    it's
"And now you call yourself a lover.
All I know is I love to hate
    and how good it feels
    to love to hate you."

and yeah "unlimited" is right about the meaning of this song

General Commentyeah, unlimited hit the nail on the head about this song. this is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Halifax song ever. I can't believe how big these guys have gotten since I started listening to them in late 2004. They've really blown up. I'm so proud of them.
