"Coldwater Canyon" as written by and Stephanie Ashworth Clint Hyndman....
So I find you there again
Shipwrecked on the back step
And laughing
And talking to the screen in your minds eye
Another restless daydream
That you find easier than truth
And bigger than the days you've been living though

And now you're there with your senses blown open wide
And you're tired watching 'till you're hypnotised
And you know that you'll be awake again sometime
And out of this still life

Sitting by the side of the railway line
Nowhere else to be
And changing with the light
The edges of things you only think you see

And now you're there with your senses blown open wide
And you're tied down watching 'till you're hypnotised
And you know that you'll run aground again sometime
And out of this still life

Get out of this
Get out of this
Get out of this still life

General CommentI'm not entirely certain what the imagery is specifically about, but I've found this song really comforting during particularly difficult times. I get a feeling of exhausted hope from it-- I think the overall message is "yeah, this hurts, but eventually it'll be over and at least you'll have survived it." It may not be the most optimistic message, but sometimes realistic honesty is more comforting than blind cheerfulness.

General CommentI get that theme more from the feel of the song itself than the lyrics.
