Block gets hot, now she can't stop
She's a lot, a lot like a robot
And she can't be bought, and her nerves are shot
And she starts to rot from the inside out

She said I don't need you to save me
But there's people here trying to play me
And there's no jobs that will pay me
Enough to feed my family

And I got my back up against the wall
And I got my back up against the wall
And no one heres the call
Cuz there's no one there at all
And I got my back up against the wall

Alarm clock ringing, fools are tripping
Promises broken, jobs are leaving
And the sky is darkened and the landlord's steppin'
But the bus be splittin' and I won't be regrettin'

And there's no more jobs here, no more love here
No more room here for me
And there's no more jobs here, only misery here
For me and my family

Now where have all the good times gone?
(ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!)
But something here is going wrong
(ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!)

Why even bother when you're getting clobbered?
Nobody's safe and sound
Off your sweat they will profit, youth they will rob it
And grind you down to the ground

We all got big dreams now
The new factory just shut down
And there's not enough to go around
And they'll grind you down to the ground

General CommentHey, I've got my back glued to the wall. My rich dad who was a lawyer went crackhead and lost everything, so now I'm living at my mom's on welfare, which sucks. I don't let that bring me down though, I'm a very happy person and money isn't the most important thing in the world. My mom seems to disagree though...

General CommentIve been looking for a job, living on streets, sleeping at peoples house for the past 3 - 4 months (got kicked out of my house for coke and heroin use) but in the past 4 months ive had liek 30 interviews and handed out 100 or more resumes out (paying 10 dollars of which I DONT have) i mean money isn't everything when your living at home but when your on the streets and all you have is the clothes on your back and an adiction thats eating at you... you HAVE to have a job just to survive... they say im Greacy, Nasty looking, and not presentable.... WELL IM FUCKING SRRY IVE BEEN LIVING ON THE GOD DAMN STREET FOR THE PAST FUCKING 4 GOD DAMN MONTHS!.... its seriously sad, and i have to hide everynight (as stupid as it may sound in a 70,000 populated area us punks are the minority, we are hated by Jocks, Hicks, Wiggers, and Preps... which is all there is here, and whats even stupider is that they think there so tough theyll jump you when your least expecting it and rip out your piercings and do what ever... dunno... all i have to say is... GET DRUNK! GET FUCKED! AND MAKE SOME MUSIC FOR ME!
