"Brand New Orange" as written by Patrick Carrie, Justin Entsminger, Robert Maclean and Matthew Stephens....
A waiter must have real bad luck.
Associate's a sitting duck.

I think of all the things I bring,
and only want to bring what I want –
a brand new Orange instead.

I'd love to rome here any time I want.
I could make anything you want.
So I could get some sleep at night, and leave the house to eat ALRIGHT!

A brand new Orange instead.
Some nights are red, when I want my eyes blue again.
A brand new Orange instead, so the shower just leaks a little bit.
Sometimes it's loud because the neighbors just mind a little bit.
So I can be proud, and people can care a little bit.

A brand new Orange instead.
So I can be bored again.
A brand new Orange instead.
So the days can be slow again.

General CommentI first saw this band with Motion City Soundtrack and Tsunami Bomb. They kinda remind me of Rooney. I love them!

I want to know "a brand new orange instead" means.

General Commenthaha yeah, the first time i heard this song i thought he was saying "a brand new orange juice stand," and my friend thought he said "a brand new orange is dead." now that I see the lyrics though, i get the whole orange county bit.

General CommentRobb said that he used to be a pretty bad waiter and that he knocked over some salt and pepper shakers three days in a row or something like that, and it inspired him. And the Orange County bit is right. He wants it to be new and better.
