"A Penny Loafer Saved, A Penny Loafer Earned" as written by and Matthew Arnold Thiessen....
Well Brian and me well,
We both agree that,
That penny loafers are absurd,
Cause I don't know why on earth,
You would take your two cents worth,
And stick them in your girly shoes,
And Dave replied well after all,
Why not at least use quarters,
So then you can make a phone call,

Its finally time, time for our victory lap,
Assemble the B, just one left turn,
The matchbox tires spin out on the welcome mat,
And the firemen are tired men,
who cant put out the rug burn,
And they say,

Cut your hair short, then walk through an airport,
So that you can dream of destinations
Cut your hair short, then walk through an airport,
Cut your hair short, then walk through an airport,
While all the while you're singing good vibrations,

You're singing good vibrations
You're singing, good, good, good, good, vibrations
You're singing, good, good, good, good, vibrations
You're singing, good, good, good, good, we both agree
You're singing, good, good, good, good

General CommentYeah...it is "and soon there will be just one left turn"...I went to a concert a while ago and Matt performed this one and it was really obvious that it was "and soon there will be". For anyone who cares!!!

General CommentThis is a fun song. I have no idea what it means, if anything, but nevertheless, it's fun to listen to. Heh, I like the Beach Boys allusion at the end. BTW, I think what he's singing is "and soon there will be just one left turn." I thought it was "assemble the b" at first, too, but I think "and soon there will be" makes more sense.

General Commenti read an interveiw about this song.
they actually wrote it because they were at the airport, and there was a guy wearing penny loafers. him and dave thought they looked silly, and wondered why anyone would buy them...so then matt made it into a song.

General CommentThis song shows that matty t (the lead singer) has a great sense of humor. I love this song because it's completely pointless, but it's very well done. i'ts kinda like when you're walking in an art meuseum and you come across this painting that dosn't make any sense whatsoever... but you still like it... for whatever reason.... or maybe I'M just weird???!!?!

General CommentI think the line is actually "assembled to be just one left turn"
It sounds to me like the gang was just playing with some matchbox cars and you know those things come with tracks you can break apart and build however you want, I think they literally just built a left turn and drove their little cars on it, those sillies :D ~

[ sorry, that's my favourite part of the song xD;; ]

As for the rest... I honestly don't think this song means much.

Catchy song and it also has refrences to the old members such as Brian and Me and Dave replied.. creative lyrics too "The matchbox tires spin out on the welcome matt and the fire men are lazy men who cant put out the rug burn" Man Relient K Rocks!!!
