"Hear Me Out" as written by Shane Told, Joshua Bradford and Neil Boshart....
When everyone has left me here,
I'll make it on my own.
Just wait and see.
Maybe if you came back down,
You'd see it happening to you.
Maybe you'd even care.
Hear me out,
I don't think you'll make it out.
Hear me out,
See the writing on the wall.
Burn your bridge and wear your heart out on your sleeve.
You know you won't fool me.
You made all these promises.
You broke all these promises to me.
Follow your heart this time.
Did you mean all those things you said?
Even when you said you'd never change.
Writing you letters you never read.
Waste my breath on paper.
When you reflect do you get that feeling like you used to?
And every time you run away.
I know you still have memories.
Now that you've left.
Make me feel like I'm gone.
You did all these things I hated.

General Comment"see the writing on the wall" means that something is obvious that perhaps a girlfriend is avoiding because she feels guilty for breaking a guys heart. its basically shane expressing his strong sense of confidence that when evryone forgets about him he can make it on his own.

General Commentthe one line that strikes me to the bone is
    when the instruments get quiet
and the harmonizing slowly kicks in
&these 7 simple words come into play:

"you did all these things i hated"

General CommentIt's an after relationship song clearly..well to me anyways

    "now that you've left
make me feel like i'm gone
you did all these things i hated"

He is trying to state that all the broken promises and all the things she said she would do didnt come true.

"maybe if you came back down
you'd see it happening to you
    maybe you'd even care"

If she saw him in his depressing state maybe she could show some sympathy for him instead of acting like he never mattered.

    "and everytime you run away,
i know you still have memories"

She is trying to block out all memories they have together, she tells him that they didn't matter and she is happy with her new life but something tells him that sometimes she looks back on how he made her happy.

    "hear me out
    i don't think you'll make it out
    hear me out
see the writing on the wall"

he wants to tell her things but she doesn't care and clearly doesn't want to know but he is still trying so hard to show her

General CommentGosh I love this band!

This song is about a relationship where it was once perfect and she promised to never break his heart... but she did and he feels bad at first but then realizes he will be ok, but he knows that she will look back and remember the good times they had and miss him.
