"My Little Corner Of The World" as written by and Bob Hilliard Lee Pockriss....
Come along with me
To my little corner of the world
Dream a little dream
In my little corner of the world
You'll soon forget
That there's any other place
Tonight, my love
We'll share a sweet embrace
And if you care to stay
In my little corner of the world
We'll ride away
In my little corner of the world
I always knew that I'd find someone like you
So hop o'er to my little corner of the world

And if you care to stay
In our little corner of the world
We could hide away
In our little corner of the world
We always knew that we'd find someone like you
So hop o'er to our little corner of the world

My InterpretationTo me, this song was about the narrator (a female) meeting someone and inviting him to see her little world. In the second stanza, she invites him to stay there. In the third, the couple have a child together and "welcome" him/her to the their world.

Such a lovely and cute song. :)

General CommentInitially I thought this was just a nice song about feelings for someone you've just met. But the last verse the pronouns change to plural "our little corner... ."

Is this because the narrator is accepting someone new into her world and now see it as theirs? Or are these the words of lonley woman cursed with multiple personalities, who is begging someone to be with her is spite of her numerous personalities.

General CommentI don't know, interesting thought. I've always thought of it as the narrator accepting someone into his world (you said "her", but it's sung by a male...). Cute song.

General Commentrhymeswithorange, actually that is Georgia Hubley on lead vox, and the tone is quite feminine (although a tonne of male fronted music is as well). But I'd more or less agree with your interpretation of the song.

General CommentIt's "We could hide away," not "we'll ride away."

Lyric CorrectionIt's "so welcome to" not "so hop o'er to". Seems a bit odd.
