1, 2, 3 - Go!

Broken,
Yeah, you've been living on
The edge of a broken dream
Nothing,
Yeah, that's the only thing
You'll ever take away from me

I'm never gonna stop,
I'm never gonna drop,
Ain't no different
Than it was before

So take some good advice,
You better stop and think twice,
Before you take your first step,
Out that door

If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down)
If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down

You had your chance to walk away
Live to see another day

If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
You're gonna get knocked down...

Aaah...

Suffering,
Yeah, that's the only thing here
That's left for you
Nothing,
Yeah, that's the only thing
You're ever gonna - do

I'm never gonna stop,
I'm never gonna drop,
Ain't no different
Than it was before

So take some good advice,
You better stop and think twice,
Before you take your first step,
Out that door

So if you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down

You had your chance to walk away
Live to see another day

If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
You're gonna get knocked down...

You're gonna get knocked down...

And now you've crossed that line...
You must be out your mind

Go

If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down

You had your chance to walk away
Live to see another day

If you want to step up (step up),
You're gonna get knocked down (knocked down).
You're gonna get knocked down...

You're gonna get knocked down (step up)

You're gonna get knocked down...

You're gonna get knocked down (step up)

You're gonna get knocked... down!

This song is rather disappointing. Their new vocalist did not impress me at all with this.

At first this song was disappointing, but hey, they did what I believe Dave would have wanted... and that's moving on. This song is great... what I am disappointed about is that it appears that the album is really just about girls and money. So now that they're back they kind of give the Motley Crue impression. But they're still rockin!

I love the song, it is freaking awesome and well it was the theme for Westlemania 20 as well as The Punisher Soundtrack. Personally, I think the video itself just didn't really go along with the song. I ean the song is just ass-kicking to the highest degree and yet the video looks like the new singer just wanted a reason to make out with bitches in hot tubs and living like Scarface. I seriously think the video could have been way better!

Personally I think the song is killer, but I don't like the video too. The "new" singer has such a great voice on this song, but when I saw the video for the first time, I was like: "WTF?!" Half porn, and full of the dumb cliches that we already have enough of in this fucked up world. Sitting in the hot tub with some attention-greedy and powerhungry sluts messed up the whole song imho. Plus, the video makes absolutely no fucking sense in context to the lyrics. So I can only stand the song when I'm listening to it WITHOUT seeing the video.

I agree with the video - I expected a lot of fights and explosions, but was sorely disappointed. It's the kind of dumb self-serving video I'd expect from an RnB song, not something like this - Compare to the Sinner video, and it's a BIG change. This puts the song is a poor light - instead of stepping up for a fight, it seems more like stepping up to a business takeover.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Head > Heels
Ed Sheeran
“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
