"Freak Of The World" as written by and Wesley Reid Scantlin....
Don't want the sun to shine upon my face
And I see your eyes and their glazy haze
Your lips don't move
But I hear what you're saying
I look outside through the razor blades

And I crawl and I scrape and I feel for you
But there's nothing
There's nothing that I can do
I'm a freak
I'm the freak of the world
I'm a freak
Freak of the world

Stars are shining oh so bright
And I don't think everything's alright
And I can't wake up
'cause I dream all night
Yeah you're in my way
And I can't get bye

And I beg and I cheat and I steal for you
But there's nothing
There's nothing that I can do
I'm a freak
I'm the freak of the world
I'm the freak of the world
I'm the freak of the world
And there's nothing I can say
And there's nthing you can do
And there's nothing I can say or do

Don't want the sun to shine upon my face
And I see your eyes and their glazy haze
Your lips don't move but I hear what you're saying
I look out side through the razor blades
And I try
(through the razor blades)
And I scream
(through the razor blades)
I can see your face

I'm the freak of the world
I'm the freak of the world
I'm the freak of the world
And there is nothing I can say
And there is nothing you can do
And there is nothing I can say or do
Caz I'm the freak of the world
I'm a freak
Of the world

General Commentnah i think its more then just being a freak in this this world, it's about someone likeing someone who has gone insane,"And i see your eyes and their glazy haze
Your lips dont move", and the person's in a phase where he/she would do anything to save him or her...Well that's my opinion...

General Comment"Don't want the sun to shine upon my face
and I see your eyes in the glazy haze.
You lips don't move but I hear what you say.
I look outside though the razor blades."

He sees himself as a freak and he doesn't go outside to interact with people because he's afraid that people will judge him. He has people in his life that try to reach out to him but he's so insecure that he goes out of the way to avoid them because he feels that people are judging him, even though they don't say anything negative towards him. (Your lips don't move but I hear what you say) He looks outside through the razor blades, he sees the blinds on the windows as razor blades because he feels that he will get hurt if he tries to go outside, so he stays inside all the time like he's in a prison.

Kurt Cobain has his journals in the bookstores now and on the back cover it says, "Read and you will judge." That sums it up perfectly. Everyone judges people whether they want to or not, it's just a natural thiing to do, you can say that you're not judging them (the other person) but you really are, everyone does it. It seems like the narrator kind of knows that people are judging him and almost knows what they're thinking and has even convinced himself that they're all thinking that he's a "freak" and "what the hell is wrong with this guy?" and it makes him feel uneasy when he's around these people, even if he's completey wrong about what they're really thinking, in his head that's how it is.

Maybe I'm completey off base with what song really means but myself having social anxiety and Avoidant Personality Disorder, I could totally realate to this point of view.

Anyway take away from this song what you want.
