"New Day" as written by Robert James Smith and Laurence Andrew Tolhurst....
People tell me they wake up everyday wondering if they'll be here tomorrow.
I say live for today.
Cause everything you have is just borrowed.
No progress made just sittin' around
TV's selling bullshit by the pound
Things stay the same are you afraid to ask why?
Fight to live! or are you waiting to die?

Changes coming our way!
Just like a new day.

These borrowed days they come and go
We live on, reaping what we sow
Terror from the darkness of our minds
The self-destruction of mankind
And we'd all like to see some change
But the shit, it falls like rain
We sit and watch the world turn grey
What's the point here anyway?
Changes coming our way
Just like a new day

General CommentChanges coming our way! Just, Just like, Just like a new day!

Awesome song, off their second "real album". Ever since McDermott joined the band they've changed. No more silly teenage punk songs. Though it's sad to see that phase over, this new stuff they are putting out is TIGHT!

General CommentTime was made by man. As it winds down on each of us we cling for possesions that don't matter at all. Greg hit the nail, "Cos everything you have is just borrowed." Humans need to accept that this life is all we have. No afterlife, no heaven, no hell. Whatever we want has to be done here. And it has to be done now. "We sit and watch the world turn grey, what's the point here anyway?" God damn. Start living. Make a difference. Be a credit to our species. Take care of the world, it's not too late.
