"Run to Me" as written by and Christopher Kenneth/child Braide....
Don't, you don't have to save my life
No, you're not ready I can feel it
Outside its raining but I'll just go home
Someday your heart will just let him go

As soon as you get that feeling
You can start to live again
As soon as the worst is over
You can make it all make sense
Right now I can't give you want you need
As soon as you get that feeling
Run to me

Hush, you don't have to say a word
Trust, I'm not going to hate you for it
Feels like my touch only brings back the pain
Someday those memories will fade away

As soon as you get that feeling
You can start to live again
As soon as the worst is over
You can make it all make sense
Right now I can't give you want you need
As soon as you get that feeling
Run to me

General CommentThis is a man saying to a woman, I can tell you're not ready for a relationship with me because you're still recovering from the hurt and the feelings you have for someone else, but as soon as you heal, I'll be here waiting patiently...run to me.

I disagree. I think the man is saying that, when she's ready for a relationship, that the woman should try having a relationship with him. Not necessarily fall in love with him. But that's just my opinion...

General CommentI agree with Keepbabbling's interpretation. Still, part of this song bothers me because the guy is saying that one day the girl will love him. That's what my guyfriend said to me and it really annoyed me. No guy is ever going to wear me down so I will love him. Argh.
