"This Time's For Real" as written by Cristian Machado, Marc Rizzo, Jardel Paisante, Lazaro Pina, Dave Chavarri and Bob Marlette....
Why do you tell me all these lies?
I just want to live my life
I don't want to leave my dreams behind
Tell me
Why am I only getting older?
My patience getting shorter
I'm running out of time
And I hope that I get what I wanted

This time's for real
Is there anything I wanted?
Is there anything I needed?
Anything at all?

This time's for real
Is there anything I wanted?
Is there anything I needed?
Anything at all?

Why do you make me feel denied?
Always pushing me aside
You do not decide what's wrong or right
Tell me
Why am I feeling so much pressure?
Am I searching for the answer?

General CommentThis one, in my opinion Ill Nino's best song, is about not getting what you really want. You don't wish much but the few things that you really want you can't get, even if you try really hard. You're totally disappointed, you think it's unfair, and ask yourself: is this what I want?
This for ex. applies when falling in love but not being loved back and therefore getting really depressed. You ask yourself: is this what I really want?

This song really rules, I don't see why nobody else commented on this one (why do you make this song feel denied?)

General CommentI think that this song is about a boys parents always thinking of what’s right for there son, but they are not listening to him, or to what he wants in life, he’s getting older and he’s losing patience with what they are doing, his parents run his life, and now he wants it back, they always push him aside and doesn’t want him to make bad decisions in life, but they don’t know how he feels about it, and he’s being pressured to do all these things, and he’s thinking to himself, what does HE want and need. I think this song relates to a lot of teens, how there parents sometimes don’t listen, and thinks that they always know what’s right or wrong.

General CommentI think this is one of ill ninos best songs. hes being lied to, and he wants something and needs something. but hes being denied, and kept from it. He continusly is searching for why he isnt getting the things he needs and wants. this is kind of like Linkin Park, but with alot better guitar

General CommentI couldn't agree more with x91. My parents (especially my mom), all my life, have tried to direct my life, tell me what I should do, what I need to do, and now at 21, I am in college and not sure what I want to do. I know what they want me to do, but I have no idea what I want to do or what I want to be or even who I am.

General CommentPretty Much what x91 is saying but He's working his ass off to please his parents so maybe he can get what he wants for once if he does something right. And i hate how parents do that then they always ask oh whats wrong and they are blind to see that theyre the problem

General CommentNone of the explanations presented so far aren't wrong. But if you want a detailed description of the meaning of song: watch the video as well.
The video is about a professional boxer who has become somewhat old. Despite his age he feels fit and healthy enough to continue his career, but everyone else thinks otherwise. And so he is not allowed to contiune with maybe the only thing that he really loves and lives for.
The line "you do not decide what's wrong or right" says it all: You must be allowed to make your own decisions without anyone ever deciding them for you. That is my opinion, but the thing with metal-lyrics is that you are free to find your own meaning with each song. This is mine.
