Sometimes I wish I had a farm
where the only pollution is your cigarttes,
where you mind is clear.
But I like it here in my small space.
New York's the place where the sidewalks know my face
as I walk to

my apartment, the home where I hide
away from all the darkness outside.
I'm there all the time.

Bikes ride to the park and city pools.
It's summer now; empty the schools.
Fly home to my fact on the F train.
I'm protected from pain
when I'm in

my apartment, the home where I hide
away from all the darkness outside.
I'm there all the time.

I'm there in my apartment, the home where I hide
away from all the darkness outside.
I'm there all the time.

General Commenteveryone likes to be home, because you kind of feel sheltered from everything bad on the outside.

General Commenti read some review where they compared this song to weezers in the garage which is fitting. It bothered me though that they were giving him such a hard time for it. everyone has a place where they feel safe so what if his is in his apartment and rivers is in the garage.

General CommentMy apartment is my comfort zone as well. I can really relate. The song gives the exact feeling of apartment life.
