I pack my suit in a bag
I'm all dressed up for prague
I'm all dressed up with you
All dressed up for him too...
Prepare myself for a war
Before i even open up my door
Before i even look out
I'm pissing all of my bullets about...

Wrap myself in a bag
I'm all wrapped up in prague
I'm all wrapped up in you
I'm all wrapped up in him too

Prepare myself for a war
And I don't know what i'm doing this for
Trying to let it all go
But how can i when you still don't know?

I could wait for you
Like that hole in your boot
Waiting to be fixed
I could wait for you
What good would that do
But to leave me bruised?

Cheers darlin'
Here's to you and your lover
...darling
I got years...
Pack my suit in a bag
Pack myself in a bag
Pack my suit in a bag
All dressed up for Prague
Pack my suit in a bag
All dressed up for
All dressed up for
All dressed up for

General Commenteveryone, this song is about him before going to the wedding of the girl he loves. cheers darlin is about how she has a new fiance and it kills him to see the two together and now he's at their wedding. "all dressed up for you, all dressed up for him too." he doesn't know what he's even doing there or why he's fighting it so much but he loves her. yes it is a continuation of cheers darlin. thats why when the song dies back down, in the background you can hear him chanting, "cheers darlin' heres to you and your lover... darling.. I got years." as though he's hoping there is still a chance that he can be with her. that he's just going to wait. and the repetative line about pack my suit in a bag, it is what it is... he's putting his suit he's goin go wear in a bag to travel to where the wedding is. that's my take on it. i wrote a paper on this whole album. absolute brilliance.

General CommentI think this definatley takes place before Cheers Darlin. To me it sounds like he is getting ready for the wedding. Cheers Darlin is his recount of the wedding while Pargue deals with what he was thinking before his ex-lovers weds.

I pack my suit in a bag
I'm all dressed up for prague
I'm all dressed up with you
All dressed up for him too...

    I definatley think its before.

    General Commenti adore this song...

i think this song is about a girl who can't decide between two guys. He is trying to win her love but is beginning to wonder why he's doing all of this for someone who may not even want to be with him in the end. "Prepare myself for a war And I don't know what i'm doing this for Trying to let it all go But how can i when you still don't know?" shows his insecurity in investing his time and emotions in her. It also shows his inability to let her go even though he knows she may pick the other guy.

sorry if i am completely off...lol...

General Commentthis song is so awesome, and no mea845, you arent off.... im pretty sure this is like the sequel to "cheers darlin"

altho.. i think its "what good would that do but leave me wrecked" not brused..... i could be wrong tho... its kinda hard to hear at that part

"Before i even open up my door/ Before i even look out/ I'm pissing all of my bullets about" -favorite line in the part of the song.

General CommentI also think that it is about feeling inferior. Although he offers something desirable, this particular person wants to have it all. It's almost as if Damien is saying if you don't chose me I will leave, and I'll deal on my own...but you won't decide so I have hope and I can't leave.

General CommentAnyone know why he mispronounces 'Prague'?

General CommentActually, it's not "What good would that do but leave me bruised" or "what good would that do but leaved me wrecked". It's actually "What good would that do but leave me pricked." It has that whole section of lyrics in the book that comes with the album

General CommentHe pronounces it the way British people do, at least if you're not from somewhere with a really strong accent.

Best song on the album. The simple down strumming structure of the distorted guitar really lends a heavy power filled serious tone.
Serious over compression lends to this with the clipping going mental no doubt. I bet the Engineer was wondering what's happening.

Lovely lovely bitterness of a guy passed over and trying to come to terms with the fact he's really not got a lot of options. Probably addressing has he really got a right to go pissing all his bullets around?
As a bloke I can only conclude that yes, most probably because she's probably led him on.
