"Frozen" as written by Ricky M. L. Walters, Christopher Charles Andre West, Bill Conti, Shelby F. Conti, Geoffrey Paul Barrow, Beth Gibbons, Adrian Francis Utley, Corey Woods and James Bimmy Antney....
Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Synthetic ecstasy, when her legs are open
True life behind a wall
Where men and angels fall
A fading memory, when my mind is frozen

I can see a frozen point in time
Where her figure still awaits
Tongue of fire tracing lips outline
Where frozen breath originates

With one motion of her waiting eyes
She strips everything away
This one moment is intensified
And colors all fade to grey

I am in the only place that i want to be
Though we know that it ends eventually
But it's alright because right now we're frozen

"I want to forget mistakes they've helped me make
It's better to be broken than to break"

Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Synthetic ecstasy, when her legs are open
True life behind a wall
Where men and angels fall
A fading memory, when my mind is frozen

I can see a frozen point in time
That is easy to retrace
Light and darkness are both intertwined
The elements are in their place with

One motion of her wanting mind
The real world begins to fade
And all the hateful things I have become
Temporarily go away

Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Synthetic ecstasy, when her legs are open
True life behind a wall
Where men and angels fall
A fading memory, when my mind is frozen

When my mind's frozen:

I'll take you anwhere you want to go
Far from anything that feels like home (lets go)
You are anyone I want to be (it's here and now, and now it's only you and me)

It's never enough (mmm that's true)
I want to stay here (yeah, and I do too)
Breakin' it down(takin' it down)
With smell(smell), touch(touch, taste(taste), sight(sight), and sound(sound)

How long will I be here without you near because I'm so cold
Break them first or I'll get broken is not what I was told, now I'm so cold
I'm so cold
So cold

Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Synthetic ecstasy, when her legs are open
True life behind a wall
Where men and angels fall
A fading memory, when my mind is frozen

Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Synthetic ecstasy, when her legs are open
True life behind a wall
Where men and angels fall
A fading memory, when my mind is frozen

General CommentActually, I'm pretty sure this is about masturbation. This is his "Fantasy" based on his "synthetic ecstasy". When his "mind is frozen" by his actions, everything is "a fading memory" and he can't sense anything around him.
While he is in this place everything tomporarily fades away and he can go anywhere he wan'ts to go, do anything wants. But he is here without anyone, cold and alone...
Totally masturbation, but good song none-the-less (and I'm begining to believe that EVERY cd's #7 song is either the best/most out-of-place one)

General CommentJust because we're saying it's about sex doesn't mean our minds are in the gutter.

General CommentCan you people get your minds outta the gutter and back into your heads? This song, if you read it well enough, is all about temptation. He (Klayton) tends to focus on the sexual aspects, because that's the main temptation in people today. In short, this song is about desire.

General CommentI'd say have a listen to it again - that last bit sounds a little different to me than what's written here - specifically,

"Take me anywhere you wanna go
We're far from anything that feels like home", then:
"Here I'm anyone I wanna be
(It's here and now, now it's only you and me!)"

If you listen and hear that, the entire meaning of the song changes. I would say it's about him imagining still being with a lover who was driven away by a mental illness ("It's not what I was told..." a little further on suggests he's in counselling or such). And that would fit with the album's apparent theme of that.

One way or another...Celldweller is amazing. <3

Song MeaningI think this song is about friends with benefits honestly. Someone who he messed around with sexually, but then caught feelings. He must have been in love with this girl the way he speaks about her ''true love behind a wall'', or a temporary obsession cause where ''men and angels fall'' giving into lust. I think he wanted a relationship, but it did not work his way. He is also torturing himself cause he tries to keep living in this moment that has already passed. ''I can see a frozen point in time
That is easy to retrace'' He is obsessing about a past event with a girl. He might just be looking at a picture or seeing visions of places they used to hangout or talk. He just wants to be frozen in that time. How long will I be here without you near because I'm so cold
''Break them first or I'll get broken is not what I was told, now I'm so cold
I'm so cold, So cold'' Now that sounds to me like he was lead on, and he thought it would work, but the girl made a last decision to not be with him, after all they have been through. Now he is left alone, and isolated from her ''So Cold'' the reason he is away from her is because he cant handle being just friends, and he struggles with always wanting more. I love this song and i feel the same way for a girl in my life, and this interpretation is correct because i saw Klayton like a few nights ago and i asked him about this song specifically cause i connected to this song, and i wanted to know. Celldweller is amazing.

General CommentThe song is about temporarily forgetting about life while he's having sex, and now that's all he wants to do. Maybe it's about sex addiction.
