"Alive Out Of Habit" as written by and Brian Mcternan Brian Deneeve....
In you I see further
Can it last forever?
Identify your patients, XY configurations
Words are lost in your eyes
One thought inside my heart
Drop addicts in the mixture, falcons have blown the fixture
Think of me as days pass us by
Shards of glass
Skies of gold
Steal my breath
Blood runs cold
Violet waves
Oceans blue
All my love
Lost in you
In you I see further
Can it last forever?
Sinkhole that we would frequent
White heels safe from extinction
Words are lost in your eyes
One thought inside my heart
I said that I don't need you, but I'm a liar, I swear I do, I do
Strip away
Vanity
I do
Just as you
Consume me
I do
Broken smile
Starless sky
I do
Save it all
Say goodbye
You're out in left field, and lacking interest
You fight the boredom but it makes no difference
Your mental health kid, that's what's in question
Keep acting obscure, we'll keep them guessing
The moment ideas are conceived
They'll be out of touch, obsolete
They're faking champions hand picked
And all the fights have been fixed
You wake to suffer through the day
Trade a dream for the pay
Well here's the fact I hope it sticks
You're just alive out of habit
Shards of glass
Skies of gold
Steal my breath
Blood runs cold
Violet waves
Oceans blue
All my love
Lost in you
Strip away
Part of me
Just as you consume me
Broken smile
Starless sky
End it all
Say good-bye
Think of me as I say good-bye

General CommentWell...half the wsong is about loving for someone for who they are.

Fran's line: "I said that I don't need you, BUT I'M A LIAR! I SWEAR I DO! I DO!" line speaks for itself, but it's about wanting someone back.

When it breaks down and Fran sing's, it's about how corrupted the world is and how nobody cares about anything but money.

"You wake to suffer through the day,
Trade a dream for the pay,
Well here's the fact I hope it sticks,
You're just alive out of habit"

That's one of the most powerful things I've ever heard...truly amazing

General CommentYea it definitely is a really powerful song, with a powerful meaning. This song just amazes me, especially with the beginning of the song with crazy time change, but it sounds so good. They are definitely an awesome and very talented band.

General Commentthis is a very profound song.
    i love the opening lines:
    "In you I see further.
    Can it last forever?"
it describes what many people feel when they first fall in love.

General CommentThis is my favorite FATA song. I think it's about living life to the fullest and not taking things for granted. The lead singer feels like he has been taken for granted by someone he thought the world of. This song is so powerful and it grips you no matter what your music preference is.

    General Comment"in you isee further
can it last forever"...is like like he feels as if he has found something rare in the world that he is in, but he hold the hope very tight for what he has found to be true because corruption...

General CommentIn you I see further.
    Can it last forever?

I get that he's in love and wants to continue with her, but he has a fear that they'll eventually fall apart.

General CommentThis song deserves so many more comments. To me, this is my favorite song from FATA and it's the best ever! To me this song is about rejection "Strip away
    Part of me
Just as you consume me" It just makes me think rejection. It's obviously about love. I love the breakdown and the line "You fight the boredom but it makes no difference
Your mental health kid, that's what's in question
Keep acting obscure, we'll keep them guessing"
