"Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)" as written by Daniel Francis Hawkins, Francis Gilles Poullain-patterson, Edwin James Graham and Justin David Hawkins....
Feinging joy and surprise at the gifts we despise over mulled wine with you
On the 25th day of the 12th month
The sleigh bells are in time ringing true
How we cling each day long to that snowflakes and hope in hell
That it won't end

Don't let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.

Well the weather is cruel,
And the season of Yule warms the heart, but it still hurts.
You've got your career, spent the best part of last year apart and it still hurts
So that's why I pray each and every Christmas day that it won't end

Don't let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.

Christmas time, don't let the bells end
Christmas time, don't let the bells end

Dust underneath the mistletoe leaves when you're not here,
You went away upon boxing day,
Now how the hell am I gonna make it into the New Year.

Christmas time, don't let the bells end
Christmas time, don't let the bells end

Christmas time, don't let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.

Christmas time, don't let the bells end
Christmas time, don't let the bells end

General CommentNowhere near as good as the band they're ripping off, but still, a decent band and a bold move to bring stadium rock back. (They're ripping Queen off, by the way).

are you out of your mind?
there is absolutly no resemblance between the 2 bands.
the darkness of course being the better. but i still like a bit of queen... boh rapsohdy, bike race ect..

General Commentqueen and the darkness do have a resemblance dumb ass. justin and dan hawkins were in many bands, but never together. on millenium eve 2000, justin sprang to his feet and sang along to bohemium rhapsody and contemporary dancing and in the words of dan "acting like a complete tw*t". thats when they realised they needed to make a band together. queen has been the darkness's biggest inspiration. and whichever of you assh*les think there taking the mick, your wrong. they are just open and express their ideas in a much more full on way than any bands would ever do today. brian may and justin hawkins are great friends anyway. lol

General Commentendal, are you actually taking the bloody piss? Justin's BIGGEST influence is Freddie Mercury - the only reason his brother asked him to be in the band was because he sang Bohemian Rhapsody on karaoke note-perfect.
Queen will forever remain superior to The Darkness, hands down. But The Darkness still remain the best attempt at bringing back stadium rock to its rightful place.

General Commentthis song cudn't b more annoyin if it was made of rubber, covered in spikes, coated in honey and inserted into my rectal tract on a hot summers day in long grass during eastenders.
