"Easy Target" as written by Thomas Delonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis L. Barker....
All her signals are getting lost in the ether, she's a landslide like a city beneath her
So take a good look, so you'll never forget it (That's what she wanted)
Take a deep breath, I know I'm gonna regret it (That's what she wanted)

Holly's looking dry looking for an easy target
Let her slit my throat give her ammo if she'll use it
Caution on the road lies lies and hidden danger
Southern California's breeding mommy's little monster

She's got a mission, and I'm collateral damage (That's what she wanted)
She's the flower that you place on my casket (That's what she wanted)
Savor the moment cause the memory's fleeting
Take a photograph, as the last train is leaving

Holly's looking dry looking for an easy target
Let her slit my throat give her ammo if she'll use it
Caution on the road lies lies and hidden danger
Southern California's breeding mommy's little monster

Better run run run run run (Holly let me out)
Better run run run run run (Holly let me out)
Better run run run run run (Holly let me out)
Better run run run run run run run (Holly let me out)

General Commenttom and mark got the idea for this song from someone that worked close with them on this album a producer or sound guy or something i don't know exactly but when he was a teenager he really liked this popular chick and she invited him to her house one night so he rode there on his bike but the popular chick and her friends were there waiting for him with water bombs and such

they gave the girl the name holly which stuck for the next song All Of This which is about a girl using tom to get to toms older brother and breaking toms heart. they called her holly too

General CommentDid anybody catch the [probably indirect] Social Distortion reference? ("Southern California's breeding mommy's little monster") Someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't at least one of the two (Mark and Tom) listen to Social D when they were teenagers?

    General Commentyeah omg lolz... kekekeke...
I'm glad you posted the great meaning of the song.

This song is about a popular chick inviting this not so popular kid to her house after school, so he got home left straight away and pedaled as hard as he could to get to her house, only for her to jump out of the bush and squirt him with the hose...
