I've been here before a few times
And I'm quite aware we're dying
And your hands they shake with goodbyes
And I'll take you back if you'd have me
So here I am, I'm trying
So here I am, are you ready?

Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you
Always
Kiss you, taste you, all night
Always

And I'll miss your laugh, your smile
I'll admit I'm wrong if you'd tell me
I'm so sick of fights, I hate them
Let's start this again for real

So here I am, I'm trying
So here I am, are you ready?
So here I am, I'm trying
So here I am, are you ready?

Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you
Always
Kiss you, taste you, all night
Always

Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you
Always
Kiss you, taste you, all night
Always

I've been here before a few times
And I'm quite aware we're dying

Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you
Always
Kiss you, taste you, all night
Always

Come on let me hold you, touch you, feel you
Always
Kiss you, taste you, all night
Always

Always
Always

i think this song is about about a relationship not going well the line "and your hands they shake the goodbyes, and ill take you back if you have me" it sounds like the girl is breaking it off and he cares for her alot still and still wants to be with her. then the second vers is like it has been broken off and he misses everything about her and he is trying everything to get back with her.

ahh i love this blink song. like its not really quality or talent or something, idk, and the lyrics are simple, but it always makes me want to cry a little when i hear it. honestly, blink is the masters of depressing pop. but anways, its like this guy who was kinda not the best bf ever, like he knows its his fault, but didnt realize the girl would actually end things so hes tell her hell try harder if he gets a second chance. its like he knows he doesnt quite deserve her but he is totally going to change her because once he loses her he realizes just how much he needs her. most guys are like this i think.

it's about a relationship nearing the end, and he knows that it's ending and he's trying to get her to come back to him by telling her he'll make things right again ("I'll admit I'm wrong if u tell me/I'm so sick of fights/I hate them/Let's start this again for real") He's trying to talk her into coming back by reminding her of the old times they've had together and saying he's wrong. It's kinda sad, but a good song.

I agree with most of your views of this song. All I have to add is this song is amazing and really brings out the talent in Travis Barker (along with every other song on this album). Also, Tom has added great guitar riffs and bridges throughout this album which we haven't heard since Cheshire Cat. Great Album, damn great.

I think this song is about a relationship where it seems that both know it is going to end, and at first Tom sings as if he's savoring the moments that are left and that he wants to leave it at that, but at the end of the second verse he says "Let's start this again for real" so I believe that he is saying that despite their differences he is willing to give their relationship another chance. This is echoed when he repeats the refrain twice, with more intensity the second time, before moving on to the chorus. Well, that's just how I see it. I love this song because blink-182 is really just playing around with musical ingredients from the '80s, like the ultra-fast tambourine in the chorus (it says in the album insert that they're tambourines so don't tell me it's a cymbal).

This is their new single, which they can't play live (that's what I've heard anyway).

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
