I don't want to talk about it
Do you think you'd understand,
How things can get so fucked up with such good intentions.
If roofs turn to sky,
Held by the gravity of nothing,
An ironic and literal making of a bed.
You can walk away,
But there is a reason to stay.
They make bad jokes, it's okay not to laugh.
For every push foward, you get the same fucking push back.
You have nowhere to go, so you found someplace,
you have nothing to say you start lying
What the fuck were you thinking
I'm not sorry
I'd do it all again.
Now with all the lines so burred between hate, love, and revenge
Are just dead feelings.

General CommentIt's about not letting the people who listen to your band hold back your musical growth.

General CommentWhen ever this song starts to really make sense i get stoped in my tracks with these two lines, "An ironic and literal making of a bed", that one just confuses me, and, "They make bad jokes, it's okay not to laugh", who are they? Sometimes i feel like the only person whos ever really gona understand the truth behind the song is Tom.

General Commentso i kept trying to think of this song politically, like someone has joined a political organization or like how the Russian revolution started off with good intentions and ell but I kept getting stumped by some lyrics.

When I started to think of it more relationship wise, it started to make more sense so maybe that is what it is about. Like there was a relationship going on and the other person cheated and lied about it and that sort of thing. Just an idea. What do you think??

General CommentI think i noticed just a few errors:

DO YOU want to talk about it
    Do you think you'd understand,
How things can get so fucked up with such good intentions.
AND IF, If roofs turn to sky,
Held by the gravity of nothing,
An ironic and literal making of a bed.
YOU KNOW, You can walk away,
But there is a reason to stay.
    Are just dead feelings.

i have no idea what this song is about. i just can connect with the lines "i'm not sorry./i'd do it all again." because i wasn't supposed to go to their concert but i did and now i'm in a lot of trouble but it was awesome and worth it.

General CommentFor me, this song was always about the "scene" that surrounds punk music. All these kids join this scene because they don't think anyone else can understand them, can understand this feeling of 'non-conformity' or whatever bullshit. But in the end, it all gets fucked up because the scene is just as pretentious and conforming as the people they think they're fighting against. And you're so pumped to fight against something, to stand against authority or whatever, and this stuff builds up and when someone pushes you, you just as easily push right back though you're supposed to be on the same side.

"You have no where to go, so you found someplace
You have nothing to say so you start lying"

You thought you found someplace, and you realize that you don't really belong here because maybe you're not radical enough or whatever. So you start lying about your views to be like them and in the end, the hate, the love and revenge are all blurred and you don't know what you stand for anymore because it doesn't even matter. The scene is just as bad as everything else.

    Just my interpretation.

General Comment"They make bad, bad jokes, it's okay not to laugh....for every push forward, you get the same fucking push back."

I feel like the first part might be talking about the situation in "Drinking With The Jocks"... makes me think the 2 songs are related in some way.. Topicwise at least
