"Here's Your Letter" as written by Thomas Delonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis L. Barker....
Cut the skin to the bone
Fall asleep all alone
Hear your voice in the dark
Lose myself in your eyes
Choke my voice Say goodnight
As the world falls apart
Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this

Here's a letter for you
But the words get confused
And the conversation dies
Apologize for the past
Talk some shit take it back
Are we cursed to this life

Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this

I'm talking to the ceiling
My life just lost all meaning
Do one thing for me tonight
I'm dying in this silence

The last star left in heaven
Is falling down to earth and
Do you still feel the same way
Do you still feel the same way

Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this

General Commenthaha man this song full reminds me of the time when my besterest friend that I had known for 7 years and I had like full started to drift apart it wasn't funny, because our lives had changed, and we were both growing and changing, especially him, cuz his life was totally changing, where I was more or less in the same place because i thought i'd figured things out earlier. newayz...yeah, that pretty much sums it up, like the break-down of connectivity, and man, did that totally suck. like i'm normally pretty indifferent but that was like, full emo, lol, like my whole world changed, it was the worsterest thing lol...

and it was like you just wished there wasn't this awkwardness and tension, this wall, and it was like tearing you apart on the inside like, and it's like you wish you could just get rid of it all, "let go", like "fuck i can't let this kill me, let go...i need some more time to fix this..." and it's weird cuz you like you try, like "here's a letter for you, but the words get unglued, and the conversation dies" like, i dunno, what to say in your head or wrote down or whatever, but when you try to say it in person, it somehow comes out all retarded and... it's hard.

and like you feel like you need more "time" but then it's like "let go" so it's conflicting. and you like just so want things to be the same, just "normal", like, and you wonder like "do you still feel the same way?" but it never will be, well, not the same, anyway.

but yeah, everything, all the lyrics, that was like, what it felt like, lol. especially, crazily enough, that last verse..:s

so yeah, i reckon s'about breakdown of friendships/relationships and like yeah, communication problems and stuff

General CommentI remember when I was around 18 years old and there was this really cute girl that I liked. I guess she only wanted to be friends with me though and she started dating one of my friends. I was so p!ssed off at that and she could tell. She really tried to be friends with me in spite of how I felt. After awhile I stopped talking to her completely and after that I ended up egging her house. She knew it was me and was still willing to be friends with me for the sake of all our friends. I knew that was the only reason and I wish it could have been the same between us because I really liked her and she was so nice and sweet(she grew up Christian). In the end, I lost contact with everyone in that group of friends and disconnected my phone service. This song reminds me of her and how I was the problem in the relationship with my insecurity issues. I wish I could have known what I knew now and been a better person. All this time has past (two years) and I can't believe how stupid I used to be. Some things can only be learned through first hand experience and that was one of those things to me. I'm not suicidally depressed but I am ashamed and I love that line "I can't let this kill me, let go..."
