Hope this is the last time
'Cause I'd never say no to you
This conversation's been dead on arrival
And there's no way to talk to you
This conversation's been dead on

A rivalry goes so deep between me
And this loss of sleep over you

This is side one
Flip me over
I know I'm not your favorite record
The songs you grow to like never stick at first
So I'm writing you a chorus
And here is your verse

No, it's not the last time
'Cause I'd never say no to you
This conversation's still dead on arrival
And there's no way to talk to you
When you're dead on

A rivalry goes so deep between me
And this loss of sleep over you

This is side one
Flip me over
I know I'm not your favorite record
The songs you grow to like never stick at first
So I'm writing you a chorus
And here is your

Whoo!
This is side one
Flip me over
I know I'm not your favorite record
So-o-o-o

This is side one
Flip me over
This is side one
Flip me over
I know I'm not your favorite record
The songs you grow to like never stick at first
So I'm writing you a chorus
And here is your verse
Here is your...

this song is a metaphor. if you will look a little harder you will find that most fall out boy songs are metaphors. i personally think that "this is side one flip me over. i know im not your faveorte reccord. the songs you grow to like never stick at first." is saying that he knows that he may not be your fave. person but if youll spend more time with him you will find that there is more than meets the eye and you would grow to like him. i actually just had that epiphany and an freaking out rite nnow. that is currently my fave line frm ne song rite now.

This song is about a girl who he can't seem to say no to even though she doesnt care about him . He can't forget her and he wastes all his nights thinking about her . But he still longs for the day that she'll get used to him and love him like he loves her . But in the meanwhile she's using and ignoring him .

Alright this is my opinion: "i hope this is the last time 'cause i'd never say no to you this conversation's been dead on arrival and there's no way to talk to you this conversation's been dead on arrival" -All this means is this guy hopes this is the last time he has to talk to this girl he likes with a conversation that is "dead on arrival". He would never be mean or say no to her but every time he trys to talk the conversation instantly dies.

"a rivalry goes so deep between me and this loss of sleep over you" -pretty basic he cant stop thinking about her and its pretty much ruining his life.

"this is side one flip me over i know i'm not you're favorite record the songs you grow to like never stick at first so i'm writing you a chorus and here is your verse" -alright he made a record for her hence side 1 and flip me over. the record which is a symbol for him is not the girls favorite record. a symbol for all the other guys she knows. Maybe she likes another guy. songs that you grow to like means the people you end up liking in the end never are the people you liked in the beggining. which is very true for songs.

"no, it's not the last time 'cause i'd never say no to you this conversation's still dead on arrival and there's no way to talk to you when you're dead on arrival" -alright pretty much same thing he hopes she will warm up to him but the conversations are always DOA and he can never find a way to talk to her when SHE is "dead on arrival" which means he cant talk to her cuz whenever he does try to talk to her she is just zoned out and not putting any effort into the convorsation and it makes imposible to carry on the convorsation.

Alright pretty much main meaning is: guy likes girl cant stop thinking about her she keeps blowing him off and he is giving 110% while she is giving none.

i think this song is about falling in love and having your heart broken so every time you go up to that person you love it is dead on a arrival hope this is the last time is when he will finally fall in love again and after the chorus he says its not the last time because it was dead on a arrival FALL OUT BOY ROCKS

all he wants is for her to take some time and actually realize all the good stuff he can give, which is a thing girls need to all do more often

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again.
