"So Fortunate" as written by and Mark/flucky Chavez....
I never thought I was strong enough
To handle raising my own son
You'll feel what you've never done
I hope he'll know me when I come home

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
I love my child
He's got his mother's smile
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate
Life can get tight
But I will make it right
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate

Oh yeah
I had to learn what meant more to me
My families became everything
I miss you more than you'll ever know
I wish that I can just leave, come home

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
I love my child
He's got his mother's smile
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate
Life can get tight
But I will make it right
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate
So fortunate

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
I love my child
He's got his momma's smile
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate
Life can get tight
But I will make it right
I'm so fortunate
So fortunate

General CommentIt's pretty obvious that he wrote this song about his son. Really nice song.

General CommentVery cool song. I think it's about that, even in the toughest times, there is always something or someone who makes you feel special and grateful for what you have.

My OpinionI don't know if there were different renditions of this track released.
I'm pretty sure at the end of mine, he says,
I love my child, I love my child....

    That's plain as day.

    I also hear,
    I don't wanna child...

I don't know, I'm pretty sure it's there and it would add alot to this track.
