"Be With Me" as written by and Young Lord Daron Jones....
You were standing in a dark club down in New Orleans
You were walking by a cafe on a Paris street

Be with me
Protect me from the darkness of the sun
Be with me
Right now I just need to be with someone

Saw you lying on the soft bed I had made for you
Words unspoken are the only words I know are true

Be with me
You are the flower in a desert sea
Be with me
Until the time to settle in with me, in with me

Be with me

Saw you laughing under the heavy London winter sky
Saw you disappear into the coldness of the morning light

Be with me
Protect me from the darkness of the sun
Be with me
Right now I just need to be with someone
Oh with someone

Be with me
Be with me

General Commenti think its about dreaming of someone in all possible ways and seeing them all the time and just wanting to really be with not just in dreams
i love the lyric "protect me from the darkness of the sun"
i think this is taken as a religious undertone as in protect me from the darkness thats hidden with in what seems good in life like its easier if you walk through it with me.
i love this guys voice he is amazing

General CommentEqually effective when you're just showing passion for each other.

It is about a girl Jon met called Gretchen, who sadly past away.

General CommentIt's about feelings of isolation. Everywhere he goes he sees someone he desires to be with, but it never comes to fruition and he remains alone. Maybe the "darkness of the sun" refers to knowledge. The sun is often a symbol of knowledge, i.e. illumination, and the darkness of it is perhaps the knowledge that he is alone or will die alone. Or just in general knowledge often times brings a burden with it, the opposite of the saying "ignorance is bliss," wisdom is misery.
