There's nothing left
Nothing left to hold onto
There is no reason for me to fight anymore

I let it all go
It'll be easier I know
The weight on my shoulders tells me so

So now I stand here
To sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
When there was nothing I could do

Now I stand here
With nothing left to say to you
And if you all could sing along
It might help me make it through

I try to move on
Nothing left to hurt me now
I hope it's all in the past to stay

Just try to see through
All the fucked up shit we do
And hope that we all don't drift away

So now I stand here
To sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
When there was nothing I could do

So now I stand here
With nothing left to say to you
And if you all could sing along
It might help me make it through

So let it all out
Nothing left to hold onto
There is no reason for me to fight anymore

I let it all go
Feels so much better, now I know
The weight on my shoulders tells me so

So now I stand here
To sing another song for you
About the pain I've felt before
When there was nothing I could do

So now I stand here
With nothing left to say to you
And if you all could sing along
It might help me make it through

There's nothing left
None of it's worth holding onto
There is no reason for you to fight anymore

Mm. Lovely. A bonustrack on the 14 Shades Of Grey dvd. And actually I think, that this one song, which isn't on the album, is the most beautiful of all the "new" songs..

This song is with the Limited Edition Chapter V CD/DVD. Amazing song, one of the best new ones they have had with Aaron mostly acoustic. Right up there almost past Outside.

I just bought the CD/DVD of Chapter V. This song is amazing. The melody and harmonics are just beautiful. This song was the main reason I bought the CD/DVD. I already have CD of Chapter V, but it was worth getting again just to have this song. AMAZING.

Let it Out is a true Master Piece. This song is percieve able in 2 very polar ways. The Literal message of the song is basically Aaron Lewis's life has turned so much and he doesn't need to hold on to his sorrow and past any more. He knows by letting it go he'll be better off. However he Knows that there are Fans who expect his music to be "Darker" and more consistent with lyrics of the past. But he knows that He doesn't have that Sorrow, that never dying conflict, so theres not as much left to speak about to his audience. He believes that if you join in this feeling you'll make it through as well.

however me personally the way i relate to this song is a feelin of hopelessness in light. Theres no point in holding on to an Existanec that isn't going any where. I've announced and spoken about my issues for so long that i cant say anything New. Theres nothing in the world left to comfort me and to "fight" over. and to me Let it out is basically a relation to being better off in Death than in life. BUT thats jyst MY percieving of it. remeber Aaron Lewis doesn't condone Suicide. cough waste cough

this song was suposed to go on the 14 shades of grey album but they didnt think it was good enough if you buy the chapter V dvd thing it comes with a cd and this song is on it but I think that it is kind of a statement from Aaron on how he has started to grow a little bit if you listen to their first couple of albums you see how "dark" or painful his lyrics are but since he has got married and had kids he is alot happier and has let go of alot of his anger so his lyrics arent going to be as dark or painful just perosnal thought still I think this is one of their best songs and one of my favorites of all time great song glad they put it out some how

This song is AWESOME!! I'm sure if they had released it as a single it would have been a HUGE HIT!!! It's one of my favorite Staind songs.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
