(Conceived) Give me your hand (and born was one of light)
Blood is spilt and man will follow (Rain and dark)
Infernal man,(rain and dark, the other born black night) punishment too great to bear

Raise your head and taste the courage (the one of light)
Fall from grace, unholy night
I've come here to kill you
Won't leave until you've died
Murder born of vengeance
I closed my brothers eyes tonight

(Conceived) Give me your hand (and born was one of light)
Blood is spilt and man will follow (rain and dark)
Infernal man (rain and dark, the other born black night)
Punishment too great to bear

Raise your head and taste the courage (the one of light)
Fall from grace, unholy night
I've come here to kill you
Won't leave until you've died
Murder born of vengeance
I closed my brothers eyes tonight

It's cold tonight as the clouds turn gray
And from my hands to my brothers grave
You took his side, you took his gift
Feel the power of a fallen man, crestfallen man

Far away in this land I must go
Out of the site of the One
A punishment sent from his hand
A hardship no one should know
Now go out of the site of the one
Away in this land you must go

(Oh oh oh) Where has he gone? What have you done?
A voice commands from high above this earth
From the soil his blood cries out to me
Murder, liar, vengeance, deceit

I think it talks about Cain and Abel from Genesis chapter four.

Genesis 4:2 "Later she gave birth to his brother Abel." Conceived and born was one of light

Genesis 4:1 "Adam[a] made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain." Rain and dark, the other born black night

Genesis 4:10 "The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground. 11 Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.”

Where has he gone? What have you done? A voice commands from high above this earth. From the soil his blood cries out to me Murder, liar, vengeance, deceit.

I could have thrown in so much more comparison but ive decided not to :)

Incredible song...killer vocals, ripping guitar. Avenged Sevenfold are awesome, and this song proves my point. The lyrics are dark as hell. I think it's incredible that the lead singer (Shadows) has such an enormous range to his voice.

Yeah this song is bah'd. A lot of people have made the connection, but i guess i'll state it for now... I believe the song is about Cain killing Able. For one thing, In Gensis, CHAPTER 4, it's about Cain and Able and if you look at that part of the bible, some of the lyrics from the song are from the bible (Where has he gone? What have you done?). Damn i can't wait for Waking The Fallen to come out.

Also I recall reading 'From the soil I hear his blood cry out to me' in the bible. Those words being from God.

What a beautiful poetic song. Even if the song is from the bible, I can still relate, with wanting revenge on someone that has hurt someone close to you.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
