"Get Mine, Get Yours" as written by Steve Morales, Bale'wa M N Muhammad, Christina ...
Baby you pretend that things ain't what they seem
All this tension telling me just exactly what we should be
Now I don't mind us being some kind of casual thing
Listen, all I want to do right now is have your contact on me

Can you put your hands my waistline
Want your skin up against mine
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours
Hang a please don't disturb sign
Put my back into a slow grind
Sending chills up and down my spine
Let me get mine, you get yours

If you see me with a man
Understand that you can't question me
The feelings that you call, it ain't my fault
It can't help your jealousy
If you can handle the fact that
What we have has got to be commitment free
Then we can keep this undercover lovin' comin', hittin'
Underneath the sheets

Can you put your hands my waistline
Want your skin up against mine
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours
Hang a please don't disturb sign
Put my back into a slow grind
Sending chills up and down my spine
Let me get mine, you get yours

Now listen
So, come on and freak my body
We can get nasty, naughty
All night a private party
Gotta hit that spot just right
Work me like a 9 to 5
It ain't about the kissin' and huggin'
Cause this is a physical lovin'
Straight sweatin', our bodies are rubbin'
Gotta hit that spot just right
Work me like a 9 to 5

We have a physical thing
We'll make love, but don't fall in love
Let me get mine, you get yours
You spend time
Just enough so you get yours, and I get mine
No strings attached
I want your body, not your heart
Let me get mine, you get yours

Can you put your hands my waistline
Want your skin up against mine
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours
Hang a please don't disturb sign
Put my back into a slow grind
Sending chills up and down my spine
Let me get mine, you get yours

Can you put your hands my waistline
Want your skin up against mine
Move my hips to the baseline
Let me get mine, you get yours
Hang a please don't disturb sign
Put my back into a slow grind
Sending chills up and down my spine
Let me get mine, you get yours

Come here
Don't be shy
I won't bite
Let me get mine, you get yours

    To SummerBreeze23:
Would you feel the same way if a guy sang this song? I hope so 'cause then at least you wouldn't be a hypocrite.

General Commenti love this song. it inspired me to just follow my heart and do what i gotta do. sexual liberation is extremely important, and christina's letting people know that they should take total control of their lives and not care about what other ppl have to say about it. i mean seriously ppl we've all been horny before... i dont see the problem with expressing it...

General Commentthis song is just about lust rather than love. we've all seen at least one person and wanted them even if just to make out but could care less about any emotions with them. Xtina just wrote a song about it. its got a great beat too!!

General CommentI think it`s great that Christina had this song on her album. There are a lot of guys out there having casual sex with women without the love part and she`s just showing that women can be just the same without having to feel dirty about it. Sometimes, people just want to hook up for the physical side of things and rather not deal with the love part. Very catchy song. =)

General Commentyou know what...why the fuck do you even waste your time telling people your fucking stupid opinion of her. when you dont even fully understand what her message is. she is not a slut! she is a powerful woman who is trying to spread the message to others to take control of there lives and not have fucking dumbass's like you in there way. you can call her a slut and you can call all the other girls like her a slut but that fucking doesnt get you anywhere or make you a fan. so shut the fuck up and dont be putting on a front about how you know the meaning behind her!

General CommentOne of my favourites in Stripped, she simply is expressing the sexual and physical way a woman can feels. It's a way to shut the mouth of those guys that think that you made out with them and you're already in love, she's saying "who do you think you are?".
Again, it's a song about being free and follow your instincts, and feel good about it.

General Commentjesus christ summer breeze. why dont you save your energy and invest that into making a noose and using it accordingly? im sure if this song was about pretty ponys and rainbows youd be saying "WHAT A PRUDE SING ABOUT SOMETHING REAL" well here you go mother teresa, SEX. but its probably been a while since youve been familiarized with that term. ;)
