The days they bleed together.
The sky it recedes.
It can no longer pleasure me.
Neither can the things I love.
So I can say your content.
So I can lay in my seclusion.
Neglection I can bleed.
Beautiful whispers whispered so solemnly.
But as the tables turn,
I resume to burn.
So burn the sky. Burn my soul. Dance on heresy, covered with misery. I've died inside
I'd stand watching.
Hating....Fading away...
The embers fall, right to the ground.
The flames still burn with a raging passion,
much like the feeling I gave to you.
But the dreams are broken,
The words unspoken,
and I' am trying to separate what's real..
And the pain I feel is just too damn painful,
the things I dream of are just so godamn hateful
So burn the sky. Burn my soul. Dance on heresy, covered with misery. I've died inside
And If you never saw me, would you love me?
Because the sky he sees, is the same disaster that I see.
So speak up; tell me how, I should live.
Drained, is there anything more that I can give?
But, if we ever set this sky on fire,
Would you love, could you love me?
So burn the sky. Burn my soul. Dance on heresy, covered with misery. I've died inside.
I wish I could fade away.
Just fade away..
Just wither away...
The way we where meant to be.
----But I fell apart in that moment when you said 'I could never love you as much as you love me.' Its that moment when the sun goes out, when the stars disappear, its that moment- when the hazy sky seems too clear. When you called my name, everything changed, and we stood at the edge of time forever. But the most memorable things will always roll off the tips of our tongues

General CommentI wrote this song. As I'am the lead singer/lyric writer of So Close to Forgiveness. This song is about how things can get so bland, waiting for love, and waiting for the sky to fall. Its somewhat of a metaphor. The end, is a shorter spoken word part and is self explainitory.
