When you said goodnight, didn't you mean
Goodbye, goodbye
It's not the way you loved me, but definitely
How you hurt me, how you hurt me

Your lies like a dagger through my heart!
Peirced me where it hurts the most

If you were gone, would I miss you
Or would I be grateful

All I ever wanted was your love

General CommentThis is the song that did it for me. a5a fan for life now. Again, he trusted this person and got burnt. Little bitter about it. Who can blame him? 'all i ever wanted was your love', cant we all relate?

My InterpretationI think this song might be about like maybe his mom or dad walking out on his family one night.

"Radio Flyer" (in the title) is a company most famous for their wagons. In my mind, this means that Steve (assuming the song was written by/about himself) was young when the events happened. The first 2 lines make me think of a parent saying goodnight, and leaving the family in the middle of the night.

    I dunno...just my take.
