"Raindrops" as written by Ben Jorgensen, Anthony Diionno, Peter James Decicco and Nash Breen....
You appear like raindrops
And leave like you sink through
The streets that you fall on
The cars that slip on you

All of this
For just one night

Suffocate me all you need
I won't breath but it's ok
You'll be somewhere around me
And I won't need air

The clouds will break my house
And throw me from my room
I'll drown in the rainfall
And float till I find you

You appear like raindrops
And leave like you sink through
The streets that you fall on
The cars that slip on you

All of this
For just one night

Suffocate me all you need
I won't breath but it's ok
You'll be somewhere around me
And I won't need air

General Commenti . love. this. song

    its beautiful

    wow. the meaning....
    hmm...
very complicated... well im thinking its about a guy whose looking at this girl and maybe he sees her as raindrops because..she's jst so perfect..(well that might not make sense but i see it as raindrops are perfect. haha) ok or maybe he's looking at her. and he realizes that she's practically invisible. no one sees her. she's just a raindrop falling from the sky. idk but the part where he says
"And live like you sink through
The streets that you fall on
The cars that slip on you" just gives me the idea that the streets and cars are a lot more important than the stupid little raindrops they run into. ya kno?. well maybe im not making any sense..
idk i just thought i should pitch in on the meaning for punkkid6312 bc i dont get it that much either..just my thoughs.

General Commentyeah i can agree with that. hes saying everyone thinks shes unimportant and practically invisible. you also associate rain with sadness, so thats a double metaphor i guess
but hes saying he will be there to take care of her even if no one else is. she can suffocate him with her emotions and feelings, but he'll be okay because he's with her =)
so its kinda a love song IMO

General Commenti see him 'drowning in the rain fall' as drowning in what people say, but he'll stick it out for her.
and he's always gonna be there for her. he doesnt need to breathe or anything, as long as he's with her.
