"24's" as written by and Clifford J./davis Harris....
Money, hoes, cars and clothes, that's how all my niggas know
Blowin dro, 24s, that's how all my niggas roll
Money, hoes, cars and clothes, that's how all my niggas know
Blowin dro, 24s, that's how all my niggas roll

In a drop top chevy with the roof wide open
My partners looking at me to see if my eyes open
Cause I've been drank, and I've been smoke
Flying down 285 but I'm focused
Its a four fifty four, where it says I raise comotion
White leather seats, as fresh as air forces
Doing bout a hundred but the track still bumping
Number 8 on nwa straight out of compton
Pull up at your apartment sitting on 24s
And the dope boys, saying the kids running in
The clicks start dealing and the broads start choosing
And the cars been parked but the rims keep moving
Sign pictures by the hundred, to the youngins in the hood
Cause I ain't hollywood, I come from the hood
I'm use to it, if your rear view shaking and your seats vibrating
24 inch jays got the chevrolet shaking

Money, hoes, cars and clothes, that's how all my niggas know
Blowin dro, 24s, that's how all my niggas roll
Money, hoes, cars and clothes, that's how all my niggas know
Blowin dro, 24s, that's how all my niggas roll

I'll make a mill and I'm satisfied, I'll get the rest
At the age of seventeen, entertaing the rides, I want the best
I refuse to get a 9 to 5, I'm a flip my keys
Been paying my dues since 89, trying to get my cheese
Diamonds gleam when I'm on the scene, they know its me
Ain't no dream or no fantasy its T I P
Brought busting, like a baby do a blanket
5 karats on my motherfucking pinkie, half of hennessy and belevedere
What we dranking, pimps send for broads
What the hell you niggas thinkin,

General CommentLike the song, but many things I do not understand:

"number 8 on nwa straight out of compton"

"24 inch jays got the chevrolet shaking"

"5 karats on my motherfucking pinkie, half of hennessy and belevedere"

"I'm calling out shots like a pool shark"

    "I'm a bankhead motherfucka"

"I'm 21 in 10 deep, that shit to me ain't nothing"

" pay heavy for the yay, tell my class to kiss my ass, I make a 11 everyday"

Could someone clear these lyrics up for me? I'm a little confused. T.I. seems to use a lot of slang in his music. He's a good rapper and all, and he's cute as heck, but the biggest turn-off is his cocky attitude. That's just my opinion.

General CommentSong #8 on on NWA's "Straight Outta Compton" (It's "Express Yourself")

Most of the 24 references are 24" rims, but this could be speakers maybe (not sure)

5 karats mean he's got a phat ass diamond ring on his pinkie, and Hennessy and Belevedere are drinks (alcohol)

A pool shark is a hustler, he's saying that he calls the shots.

Bankhead is a neighborhood on the west side of Atlanta, Georgia. It's were he's from.

Not so sure, but He's 21 years old and he's got 10,000 invested in something.

yay is coke (I think, it's a drug regardless) and he makes 11,000 everyday.

General CommentYou are right. the last 2 thing is he is 21 years old and has 10 years invested in the dope game.

Yay is coke, he is saying his class in school will never see him, because he make $11,000 a day slanging.

General Commenti disagree about the "in 10 deep", i think hes referring to how hes so young yet hes so rich he can afford to invest 10 grand in something as if it were a small amount of money

General CommentI'm pretty sure the chorus is "blow AND 'dro on 24's" instead of "blowing dro, 24"

Think about it. The whole rest of the song talks about coke (yay, 11 every day, etc), plus the edited version says "BURNING dro"... why would they bother changing blowing to burning?

General CommentThe pool shark line refers to how really good pool players call out what balls they are going to knock in/what they are going to do with the balls on the table before they make the shot. When TI says this it just means he's damn good at what he does and is good enough to say what he wants to happen and then do it.
