We flail onto morning stars
We'll offer all ourselves
We'll offer up ourselves
Just not to close our eyes

Seize onto the sun as it rises in the east
Ascend to open doors hanging heavenly
Suspended in the superlunary
Even broken you'll be bribed to stand

Words that never silence
Telling you, oh, oh
We won't last long
If this canopy crashes down
Crushing us
That's the only way to break this apart

And tell them the moon is falling down on
Don't expect this day to end
Do you see that star?
And I'll meet you there

When you read this you'll be well on your way
And please write soon
So I know that you have gotten home safe
Please don't forget me

Words that never silence
Telling you, oh, oh
We won't last long
If this canopy crashes down
Crushing us
That's the only way to break this apart

How I worked heart's molded in mâché
(words that never silence)
To some mended way of beating
(telling you we won't last long)
Before we behold them break and fold

Painting pictures that will never fade
(they paint both my sails; never)
Still they crack (never!)

Crushed at the crushing in our chests
(words that never silence)
Dizzy, we'll see star's dazzle like glass shards
(telling you we won't last long)
Sparkle, shatter, violence and destroyed frames

Painting pictures that will never fade
(they paint both my sails; never)
Still they crack (never!)

And if the shattering sky will slip to sever us
We'll receive it
We will reap it
Always remember

How I worked heart's molded in mâché
(words that never silence)
To some mended way of beating
(telling you we won't last long)
Before we behold them break and fold

Painting pictures that will never fade
(they paint both my sails; never)
Still they crack (never!)

Crushed at the crushing in our chests
(words that never silence)
Dizzy, we'll see star's dazzle like glass shards
(telling you we won't last long)
Sparkle, shatter, the violence and destroyed frames

Painting pictures that will never fade
(they paint both my sails; never)
Still they crack (never!)

Words that never silence!

General CommentTo me [and I only believe this because it just reminds me of something] I think it is two close friends just living life to the fullest and they know it's obviously not going to last forever, but since they are just having a great life, they never expect it to end. Then I think one of the friends dies and the other friend says he'll meet him at a star and writes this song for him. That or the friend is already dead and one night the still living one has an amazing dream just about having the dead friend being alive again.

Life experiences make everybody see everything differently.

That’s the only way to break this apart
How I worked hearts molded in mache
To some mended way of beating
Before we behold them break and fold
(The summer to see you again)
Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack
(They paint up my sails… Never… Never)
Clutched at the crushing in our chests
(The summer to see you again)
Dizzy we'll see stars dazzle like glass shards sparkle shatter
(They paint up my sails… Never… Never)
    The violence in destroyed frames
Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack
Wake up! By God wake up! Wake up right now!
And if the sheltering sky will slip to sever us
we’ll receive it. We will reap it always remember
How I worked hearts molded in mache
To some mended way of beating
Before we behold them break and fold
(The summer to see you again)
