When I wake in the morning
I want to blow into pieces
I want more than just okay, more than just okay
When I’m up with the sunrise
I want more than just the blue skies
I want more than just okay, more than just okay

I’m not giving up, giving up, not giving up now
I’m not giving up, giving up, not backing down
More than fine
More than bent on getting by
More than fine
More than just okay

When I’m lit with the sunshine
I want more than just a good time
I want more than just okay, more than just okay
Okay

I’m not giving up, giving up, not giving up now
I’m not giving up, giving up, not selling out.
More than fine
More than bent on getting by
More than fine
More than just okay
More than fine
More than bent on getting by
More than fine
More than just okay

More than oceans away from the dawn
More than oceans away from the dawn
More than oceans away from who we are
More than oceans
More than oceans, yeah

More than fine
More than bent on getting by
More than fine
More than just okay
Okay, okay, okay, fine
More than bent on getting by
More than fine
More than just okay

General CommentThis song inspired me to do my homework to its fullest extent tonight. It's about driving relationships to their fullest extent. Its giving insight to another person into your life when they ask you how you are doing, rather than saying "im fine" or "ok" Everyone says that when i ask how they are doing, we dont want fine, we want more than that. We want something deep. Something meaningful. Not OK. What the heck does OK mean? Idle? Emotionless? LIFE IS WAITING For YOU dont wait on life.

General Commenti love this song. like everyone else said, it means wanting to make the most of life - he's not going to give up trying to make things 'more than just ok.'

'when i'm up with the sunrise, i want more than just blue skies'
    - blue skies are beautiful, but he wants MORE than that. he wants to see a SUNRISE! this is like a metaphor for life - you can make the most of things and do MUCH better than ok... ok?

General CommentI like this song a lot. It is awesome. It sais to me that there is more out there in the world then just being okay and barely getting by. There is so much more, and it's up to us to find it. We shouldn't settle for anything less then total happiness and joy. Don't settle for just okay... that's what it means to me.

General Comment"I want to blow into pieces."
he wants to 'burn out bright' for lack of better words.
he wants more in life, more than just OKAY!

"More than oceans away from who we are"
don't be oceans away from who you are. that is too far. don't settle. find you and be yourself.
