"This Years Most Open Heartbreak" as written by Gareth Davies, Matthew Davies, Ryan Richards, Kris Roberts and Darran Anthony Smith....
Throw that punch swing to hit the target
Pointless game one better less played
Suicide to kiss your kids goodnight
What you've taken
What they've taken from you

To be the last one who will sing you to sleep
To be the last one who will sing you to

Just like your broken records
(You're broken)
Will convert for you tonight

Throw that punch swing to hit the target
It's a pointless game one better less played
Suicide to kiss your kids goodnight
What you've taken
What they've taken from you

Just like your broken records
(You're broken)
Will convert for you tonight
Just like your broken records
(You're broken)
Will convert for you tonight

(We will never be the same)
Same old songs on a brand new stereo
(We will never be the same)
Same old songs on a brand new stereo
(We will never be the same)
Same old songs on a brand new stereo
(We will never be the same)
Same old songs

To be the last one who will sing you to sleep
To be the last one who will sing you to

Just like your broken records
(You're broken)
Will comfort for you tonight
Just like your broken records
(You're broken)
Will comfort for you tonight

General CommentLike most FFAF songs it's about a failed relationship.
"It's a pointless game" meaning it was doomed to start with and "What better, let's play" - just going for it. Then its wanting to be "the last one...".
Then the chorus is about changing himself to try and keep the person or trying to fix a problem by changing something.
The interlude is about how it ends like all the other past relationships but it still affects him. Thinking he'll never get over it - "(We will never be the same)" and the rest of the lyrics, i dunno.

General Commentits about a relationship thats faild and that is repetitive like a "broken record" and all the guy wants to do is spend tye rest of his life with her but she dont want it

General CommentSaw these guys at Skate and Surf and I fell in love with them even more. They trully are in the same category of greatness as SILVERSTEIN and EMERY.
